Driving from DTD to 1900 Park Fare

Monday at MK went great. Thanks to everyone who gave us tips. I'll try to get some time around the pool today to offer our own tips as well.

Today's agenda is BBB and then dinner at Park Fare with Cindy. Anyone have advice on the best route from Downtown Disney to the Grand Floridian? Will there be a gate at the GF that we just tell them we have a dinner reservation and we get a few hours of parking?

You all offered wonderful advice on parking for CF. Is basically the same for Park Fare, only follow the signs on World Drive for the GF instead? Should we stay in the right or left lanes when approaching? Thanks again.

We always do valet parking at the GF, because their parking lot is pretty far away, and across a road...

Agree about valet, self park is awful there. Also, if you have the Disney Dining Experience card, your valet is free. Trust me, to be able to walk out the door and have someone retrieve your car rather than hike across the lot and a busy road is worth it!
