We will be driving for the first time. Should we go I75 the whole way or go 40 to 95? Also, which would be a good beach on either route?

Emmababy, there are no beaches along I-75 between Cinci and Orlando so if you're looking for the beach, you ain't gonna find it that way. But if you're headed to Disney/Orlando, I-75 would be much more direct than cutting way over to I-95 which is nowhere near Cincinnati.

I realize that 75 is more inland. If we wanted to go to Daytona on the way home, would we take 95 to 40 to 75 home or is there a way from Daytona to get back to 75?

We've done both routes several times. Of course 75 is the fastest and most direct. On the way home from Disney we have driven straight to Hilton Head Island 3 times. It's 5 hours door to door (our HHI condo door not exit 8 off of 95). You can of course take 95n to 26w to 40w to 75n but it's 10.5 hours from Hilton Head Island to Cincy if you don't stop a lot. So many great beaches and towns along 95, you could just take your pick but HHI does it for us.

75 would be the most direct route to Cincy. From Daytona, you can take 95 to Jacksonville, then I-10 to I-75.

The gulf coast beaches near Tampa are just miles from I-75, and one hour away from the Disney area.
