Driving directions

Here are some basic directions, maybe someone can actually give you exit #'s. When you leave the Alamo rental office, go west on the Beeline Expressway (also known as 528). You will go thru 2 different toll booths (.50 and.75). You will take the Beeline west until it deadends into I-4. Take I-4 going east and go either 2 or 3 exits. Skip the first exit, that is Sand Lake Rd. and either the next 2 or 3 exits are for Universal Studios. Just follow signs at that point. I do believe the exits are to the left so be in the left-hand lanes. They added another exit to Universal Studios a few years ago, so don't really pay attention to the exit numbers, plus I normally went to them from a different direction.

If I remember its either 30A is Univeral Blvd and 31 is Kirkman Road or the other way around. Either exit will get you there. Go north on Universal or North on Kirkman to Major Blvd (BIG SIGNS directing you to Universal) - Universal is more direct but Kirkman may be faster.

My favorite way from airport is north exit past Beechline to next traffic light - Frontage Road - left - follow this road around at one point making quick left and right - do not go on Bee/Beechline when you have the chance but stay on this road and you will wind up on Sand Lake Road. SR482 - follow to Universal Blvd. Advantage is that it is about same driving time and there is shopping and fast food opportunities on this route plus a major mall. (Florida Mall).

North airport exit (Semoran).
Left at first light (Frontage)
Around to left and at some point (light just over a mile) make quick left and another quick Left.
Gets you onto 528 Beechline (Beeline).
(Mall is at Orange Blossom exit if you wish)
One 75 cent toll.
Then at end of 528, onto I-4 east (northeast).
Skip the Sand Lake (Turkey Lake) exit and take the next one for Universal.

Avoids a lot of long red lights on Sand Lake.
