I cannot wait for the last Harry Potter book to come out!!!
Argh it's killing me. While posting here I've also been reading about why people think Dumbledore isn't dead Here. So now I all "I really need to reread the series. Man I wonder how long that will take???? A few nights maybe?

Gotta do something while waiting through the millions of commercials the TV Guide channel is running during this show; driveling works for me!

I just reread book 1. I have read books 4, 5, and 6, several times each, but the first 3 only once each. I think Dumbledore is dead, but maybe his ghost (like Nearly Headless Nick) or his portrait will still be able to talk to Harry. I am also a person who thinks that Snape is good and is acting as a double agent to help the good side.

I too can't wait. The waiting is killing me. Although I hate to wait for anything. I've reread the series a couple times and have analyzed them to the point of migraine, but all these hints JK keeps coming out with are driving me bananas!

but anyway, I think its time to pull myself away from the boards for tonight. Johnny is lonely and I think I see the glint a scissor behind his back. Could it be another "special occasion"?

What show?

It was a behind-the-scenes/preview special thingie for Dead Man's Chest. Had some interesting stuff, including Johnny Depp going on a ride-through of the revamped POTC @ Disneyland--the resemblance between him and the new AA character is amazing!--but the actual bits of the show seemed to be squeezed in during an hour-long block of commercials. Better than nothing, though, I guess!

Mine was Colin Firth, hers was Johnny Depp. I found a picture of Johnny Depp as Edward Scissorhands and his "scissors" were full of meat and veggies, like kabobs. She said he still keeps the scissors around for "special occasions".

I just checked the on-screen guide, and at least here locally, they're rerunning the special at midnight (CDT) tonight. It's "an hour" (by which I mean it ends at like 6 till the hour) long and was pretty cool, esp. the parts re. the ride.

I listened to a UK podcast the other day that was an interview w/ the guy who plays Davy Jones and he confirmed that, assuming of course that everything goes as planned w/ Keith Richards' recovery from his accident a little while back.
