Drive to Kennedy

So i've decided to take a day trip out to Kennedy during my trip next week, including taking the "Kennedy Up close" tour of the VAB building. (COOL! First time open to the public since 1978!)....


anyways, I'm trying to figure out how much $$ I will need to make sure I have on me for the tolls, as well as trying to figure out the best way to get there. since i'm coming from the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, should I take I-4 to 528 like the directions on Kennedy's site? or should I take 417 to 528?

Either way won't break the bank...and it's well under $5 either way. If I were driving (and I live here), I'd take KSC's recommendation.

I prefer to take 417 to 528 because there is a lot less traffic. The tolls will be slightly more going that way, however. The last time I drove from WDW to the port, the tolls along 417/528 totaled $4 each way: two @ $1.25 on 417 and one @ $1.50 on 528. Tolls may be higher now.

I'd go the 417>528 route.

If you're headed to KSC you're probably going there in the morning and that will put you in rush-hour traffic on the section of I-4 that you would be on if you used the other route.
