Drive or take bus to DTD for Cirque du Soleil?

12 of us staying at All-Star Music. We're seeing the Cirque Du Soleil show at DTD. Can you tell me what the parking situation is like near Cirque Du Soleil? Is it easy to find parking? How early would you recommend getting there if we drive our van?

How far is the walk from the bus stop at DTD to Cirque Du Soleil?

Finally, if you had the choice, would you recommend driving there or taking the bus?

I would drive and park near the theater so you are close to your car when you get out. I would arrive an hour early to get parked and get to the theater. You will want to go in 20-30 minutes before showtime.

I really hate driving around/near Downtown Disney!!! I say take a bus, but if you are time crunched then drive.

The last time I was at DTD, parking was a disaster due to the ongoing construction. I haven't heard anyone say that situation has improved. With that in mind, I would say bus for sure!

I would drive. It may sound crazy after all the issues with parking at DTD lately, but I was there over the holidays and was disappointed with the bus system. The west bus stop was closed. Meaning that you'll be dropped at the marketplace and you'll have to pick the bus back there. The new parking ramp is open and is big. I didn't park there, but if you arrive with time in advance then I think that is the best option as for now. And it is close to cirque. It was a no brainer for me to use the bus or boat system to DTD before, but as for now it is kind of messy.
Now if you don't mind walking all around DTD, take the bus and enjoy your walk through the shops.
