Drinks to try?

Appletinis are yummy, and lemon drop martinis, and cosmos, and pomegranite martinis. Margaritas on the rocks (but not frozen, they really fill you up) are yummy. And Amaretto sours taste like cool-aid - yummy!

I'll second the Malibu Bay Breeze. Love Cosmos, love margaritas (especially golden margaritas), love Bellinis.

I love beer though too -- I'm flexible.

My absolute favorite drink is a Strawberry Daquiri - no Rum - substitute Skyy Orange (or whatever orange vodka they have, if no orange vodka, reg vodka will suffice). I hate rum - but this drink is the best for me!

My husband's favorites are: Blue Electric Lemondae and Purple Hooter. Sometimes you have to order the purple hooter on the rocks since it is a shot too.

Alabama Slammer's are yummy. Love amaretto sours and Long Island's. Cranberry tanquery (sp).

Overall, though - I would choose a good beer

Sometimes I don't know what drinks to order, either. I can go with the standard margarita or pina colada and be happy. Last spring we were in NYC staying at Embassy Suites where they had a free cocktail hour. They didn't make pinas and the margaritas were syrupy sweet, and I asked a man what the drink was called that he was walking away from the bar with. It was Sex on the Beach... After I got up my nerve I asked the bartender for Sex on the Beach and it was really pretty good. Uh, you know, the drink! Wouldn't mind the other, either.

Desert Sunrise are really good. Vodka, pineapple juice, orange juice, grenadine and ice. Gin and Tonic with Beefeater or Bombay Saphire or a Tom Collins.

Also places like Walgreens sell Chaser Plus. It will really help with no hangover. We used it in Vegas last time and it really made us hangover free. The hardest was remembering how long ago I'd taken the last set. You can read more about the product here

Sex on the Beach is another that I have tried and like. I may not be able to ask for that since I'll be at the beach. The first time I ever had one the bartender suggested it then he had to spread out a napkin on the table to protect me from the sand. It was only a few days after my 21st birthday - I was sooooo embarrassed.
