After a short drive we finally come upon…
Ryan had been making fishy noises from the back and when we saw the sign he froze.
We loved all the HUGE trees that were decorated all over.
Our first ride was Star Tours. Ryan was a bit scared for a minute or so but once he knew what to expect he was fine. Everyone loved it.
We walked up and down the streets of America. It was so funny, the little kids thought they had actually been from NY to CA in a matter of minutes LOL
Trying to figure out which way we needed to go, we stumbled upon
Mater is Brittany’s favorite Disney Character and Lightning is one of Ryan’s.
Next up was the Back Lot Tour. I had no idea what a wait and how time consuming that would be. The kids loved watching the pre-show. Ryan thought the water catching fire was something else. This was the only ride/attraction that they didn’t let us bump on.
We finally got onto a tram. I thought I had sat everyone appropriately. However……….

Turns to This:
And causes This:
Poor baby girl was so upset she had gotten wet. The rest of us were laughing. The boys had been sitting in front of Madilynn but fought for the other side when I said I thought the right side got wet. They were bummed they had moved.
Drew was walking right along when he got a surprise
Ryan thought it was great fun and spent quite a bit of time there. He was soaked and so happy.
We went down to ride Midway Mania but it was closed. Thankfully Buzz and Woody were just across the way. Ryan was in heaven. They were so good to him. They spent so much time interacting with him and all the other kids. He was in total awe of them. He’s my smiley boy but I’ve never seen his face so lit up. I can’t wait to see the photopass pictures. I was too busy watching him to remember to take pics myself.
Ryan absolutely loved these and wanted to take them all home. Thankfully he settled on a picture with them.
Then we were off to see One Man’s Dream. It was a nice little show. Just long enough to rest our feet. It even kept the kids attention. The older boys are just at the age where history is exciting to them.
Voyage of the Little Mermaid was a must see. Ariel has always been Meagan’s favorite. It too was a nice little show. When we came out Steve took Ryan, Drew & Madilynn to get autographs from June and Quincy from Little Einsteins. They thought that was very cool too.
By now the older kids were ready for something “not 5-yr oldish” so we got in line for Tower of Terror. Zander was fussing he didn’t’ want to ride. Everyone else wanted to give it a try so I told Zander to suck it up. I had never ridden it before and I’m sure it will be quite sometime before I do again LOL I grabbed the poor kids arm that was sitting next to me (no he wasn’t related). So the rest of the ride I held my shirt so the poor kid wouldn’t have a huge bruise by the time the ride ended.
Ryan & Madilynn absolutely hated the ride. They cried and cried when we got off. Everyone else thought it was good but only Meagan & Brittany thought it was good enough to ride again. Mom and I sat with the little two to calm them down and I bought our picture.
Steve and the rest of the kids headed to Rocking Roller Coaster. I guess Zander started fussing at the last minute about riding it too but Steve once again told him to suck it up. They all LOVED the ride and rode more than once.
We all met and we were off to Christmas at GKTW
