Just wondering if there are any dress codes for the deluxe type resorts when you go to dinner there? Whether it's a sit down or a buffet?

There are some dress codes like for Yachtman's, California Grill, Victoria and Alberts and maybe Artist Pointe. For the most part though, there aren't any dress codes other than no swimwear, wear shirt and shoes and other normal things.

Dress codes are suggested, not mandatory or enforced. We have been to the restaurants in the deluxe resorts in everything from park attire to resort casual.

The restaurants with dress codes are: Victoria & Alberts, Citricos, Narcoossee, California Grill, Artist Point, Yachstman Steakhouse, Flying Fish, Brown Derby, Bistro de Paris and Jiko. Florida business casual (which is somewhat more casual than regular business casual) is appropriate.

I didn't think there was a dress code for any of the restaurants in the parks. We couldn't wear for example khaki shorts and polos to the bistro? Just asking because I wouldn't want to be incorrectly dressed!

Bistro de Paris is probably the most likely restaurant in the parks to expect a greater level of compliance with its dress code, if for no other reason than you could eat at Chefs de France, just downstairs, if you didn't want such a formal atmosphere. The other dress-code restaurant in the parks, Brown Derby, is probably a lot more likely to be more lenient with the dress code.

When I made my ADR's for June, I have Artist Point, Le Cellier, Garden Grill and Brown Derby and the CM only mentioned Artist Point has a , oh I can't remember the word she used, but basically said to dress nicer when you go there. She didn't mention Brown Derby.

At most places, resort casual is a good bet. Nice shorts and polo shirts should be sufficient. :)

Business casual is the term the CM used. What exactly is that for a 6yo boy? :confused3

Ditto. HBD, we were told by multiple CMs, was just standard park attire. Whatever we happened to be wearing was fine. We had slacks and long sleeved shirts on because it was supposed to get cold that night, but we saw many people in shorts, sandals, baseball hats, and even tank tops. :confused3

For California Grill we were told no tank tops, no flip flops, and no baseball hats (didn't stop a large group of guys from wearing them in the lounge area though, LOL).
