We leave for Pop Century on Friday morning. I'm feverishly trying to pack and had a few questions. Please help!!

Previously we have been poor college students and ate mostly at counter service. We are going to eat at some of the more fine dining locations this trip (thank you free dining!).

Please humor me....

We are scheduled for:
Jiko
California Grill
Narcoossee's

Dress Code Questions:
For men - - If my husband wears a polo shirt and khaki pants should he also wear dress shoes or would sneakers be okay?
For women - - Nice capri pants and a polo shirt or dressy sleevless blouse acceptable? I would wear sandal type slides. Is hose expected in September? I know it's going to be hot!

Also...
On Friday (the 14th) we are scheduled for Narcoosse's at 5:30 and then going to the Halloween party immediately after dinner. If anybody can give suggestions on changing or wearing something creative that can change into a costume. I'm just concerned that we will either miss too much time going back to Pop to change or be very uncomfortable all night in dress clothes.
Another option I guess would involve brining a bag to dinner and changing at MK and getting a locker. Suggestions??

Thanks!!!!

You will be fine in what you are planning to wear at those restaurants. In fact, nice shorts are fine for men and probably a sensible choice in the current heat if you will be coming or going to a park. Hose are not necessary for you.

Good luck with costume ideas but I would not go back to Pop. Do as you suggested and get a locker if you want to change.

Have fun!

Can't speak for the others, but California Grill is nowhere near as intimidating as I had initially been lead to believe. What you're describing will be perfect. :) Fantastic food and service too -- I hope you enjoy it!

California Grill was my favorite experience. It's fantastic! I actually carried a big bag/purse thing and had a change of shoes in it for dinner with my DH. You could easily do something like that, but with a costume, a locker sounds like a great idea. I wore just a cotton skirt/shirt outfit with fancy flip flops. My DH had on khakis and a polo. It was just fantastic! Have fun!!!!:goodvibes
I'll be at CG on the 12th. Can't wait!!!!!:yay:

We eat at Jiko and Narcoossee's a lot, and usually just wear our gym shoes, nice jeans or khakis, and a polo or Hawaiian shirt. On cool nights, a Disney sweatshirt is fine. Not sure what I'd do for Halloween, but if your costumes are not too uncomfortable I think they would be fine as well, as long as they are not swimsuits, tank tops, torn clothes, etc. Enjoy!!
