Dress code for wonder 4 night

Is there a dress code for dinner at night, do we have too go formal? Me,Dh, 2
Dd and Ds will be on board April 2006. What kind of things do you ladys and gentlmen wear to dinner.I may find it difficult to get my teenage Dd out of jeans and t-shirts.

On the night that you dress "formal" it is nothing more than a dress or pant suit for women and nice pants (not dockers) and dress shirt for men. They don't allow jeans or shorts in the dining rooms, so they say, but shorts have been seen. I think they are retty strict about the jeans.

We just got back from the 4 night Wonder (we sailed 8/28). Our family is 2 DDs, me and DH. I wore casual dresses and dressey capri pants and tops with dressy sandals (no flip flops). DH wore Docker-type pants, shoes and a collared shirt. I had lots of sun dresses for the girls, so they were the easiest to dress and pack for!

That being said, I was amazed how may people wore jeans, sneakers, shorts, belly shirts, you get my drift. If it was lunch it would have been one thing, but I was shocked. Maybe I am getting old fashioned now that I've hit the mid-thirties!

I had fun getting dressed really nice for dinner. It made the trip feel special.

I think jeans and shorts are aloud in the dining rooms now.

We just returned yesterday and there were shorts and jeans every night. Thought they were not to be worn in Triton's but I guess it is now a "what ever floats your boat" situation.

Being dressed nicely made the dining experience on the boat a little more elegant every night. Our 4yo and 6yo DGSs didn't seem to mind too much either.
