I don't think that anyone meant to be offensive within this thread. The issue is not about wearing a swimsuit at the pool, on the beach, or on decks 9 and 10. The issue is about the restaurants.
Disney is *EXCEPTIONALLY* clear about what attire they expect guests to wear within each of the three main restaurants and within Palo. This information is spelled out in your ticket book, on the web site, in the Personal Navigators, and, I'm sure, elsewhere. I really don't think it is too much to ask, nor is it too difficult, to abide by these simple requests. It makes a more enjoyable experience for everyone. And, if you don't like the requests you can always dine at another more casual location.
Now, as far as the issue of body image, I would only wish that everyone could be comfortable with their bodies. Don't let someone ruin your vacation because you believe (or they ARE) being overly involved and critical of what you look like in a swimsuit. BUT, at the same time, respect those individuals who want to enjoy a nice, elegant dinner.
