We have always gone with AAA for our trips and I feel pretty safe with them. My husband suggested using Dreams Unlimited this time. Anyone have an opinion? Any would help me decide. We're going the first full week in December and will have to fly out of Philadelphia.

Thanks

How much will Dreams Unlimited save you? We use AAA and they save us $200+ on our Poly stay. I too am very comfortable with my AAA TA, I get a response from her almost instantly, whether it's by phone or email.

I have never used AAA or DU but have used Small World Vacations. They have saved me quite a bit and haved saved me time. By the time I found out AP rates were available for my dates, they had already applied the AP rate. I have read that sometimes people are put on hold for a long time to apply the AP rates and the resort they wanted is unavailable. That has never happened to me. I would bet DU will due the same. I have only read good stuff about them.

We got quotes from both for our trip this coming Thanksgiving and we got a better rate from AAA. I am not sure if the lower AAA quotes are for members only or available to the general public. AAA saved us around $600 on our trip to the Poly for 7 nights 8 days with DDP.

Hope this helps!!

I used Small World Vacations - Barbara for our first week of December 2005 trip and she was able to apply the AAA discount for me. She even got us a room at POFQ, when no one else could! I am using her again for our September trip.

My suggestion would be to get pricing from both. We priced three different agencies before booking our trip for the last week in April. (AAA ended up with the best deal).

(Also, other agents can get you the AAA room discount, but NOT with a package which includes dining. For this you must go directly through AAA.)

If you're booking a package with dining...go with AAA because that is the only way you can get AAA discount on a package. If you are booking room only I would go with Dreams Unlimited. I used them last year and was very pleased. I really think you get much better service with Dreams. My SIL just used them for the free dining promo and they have been fantastic. They made all her ADR's for her and always return her emails sometimes within minutes. You can't go wrong with DU. :thumbsup2

Imatoad and I use the same AAA agent. I know this because he gave me her name over a year ago when I was booking my October 2005 trip. I absolutely adore her. She is prompt, efficient, knowledgeable about Disney and an absolute pleasure to work with. She booked our upcoming trip in May, as well. In both instances, she offered to make our ADRs (I chose to get them myself) and obtained for us the prevailing special deal for our dates of travel, free dining (last year) and free ticket upgrades (this year.)

As a car renter, you can't beat the AAA Diamond parking pass you get when you book a trip through them. It allows you upfront parking in all the major theme parks, usually right next to the disabled parking. And, like DU and Small World, AAA sends you coupons for free goodies at the parks as well as small gifts, like a photo book.
If you want that AAA discount on the room portion of the package... AAA is the only way to go.

:thumbsup2

I agree. :thumbsup2

We've used Sue Ellen with Dreams Unlimited and she has used our AAA discount for Room Only, and in the past she has found an even better rate. She keeps looking for better options!

Hey Expirateshopgirl, going in May? Sound's like your addicted, well, join the crowd. So glad your Oct. 05 trip was a hit, keep me up to date, love to hear about any good DW trip. We're going first week of Oct., can hardly wait. Michelle is a great TA, this Oct. a bunch of my family are going, and I've been drivin' her nutz with changes, but alway's the same email from her, "no problem at all."
