I have just received a quote from DU but it is too expensive so I want to try for a different hotel.

Do I have to wait until the courtesy hold expires on the initial quote or can I just make a different quote request and ignore the first quote, letting it expire when the time comes?

Did an agent email you this quote?

As a courtesy, I would email them letting them know that particular resort was not in you're budget and ask them for another quote. That way they would free up the hold and move on with you to another resort.

Been there done that! It's not a problem with the agent- DU agents are more than happy to get you another quote!

Lorix you are absolutely right, my brain was tired an fuzzy and I should have thought of that myself. I emailed the DU agent who contacted me so I'll see what he says.
