For those of you that just received your basket, how many days until your cruise? We have 50 more days, so just wondering when they send them.

If you're cruising out of Port Caneveral you should get it a week to two weeks before. We just got off a last minute cruise and they still got us ours before we left so I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, but the last post relative to the subject was only about 7 months ago. Still fairly current topic, as there are a lot of people who aren't aware of the change in the gift basket situation.

I wonder if, since Disney has such restrictions, it would just be easier to add, say $20 to each booking cabin's onboard account rather than buying, making and now mailing gift bags.

The gift "baskets" are very useful, especially for first time cruisers. It contains the things you didn't know you needed such as a highlighter, deck of cards, magnetic dry erase board, wet wipes, watch, cups, etc. If you book with Dreams Unlimited you also get an onboard credit that varies in size based on the price of your cruise. Our most recent one was $50.

Shipping label dated 1/15 for a 2/14 cruise. I guess it took 3 days from Florida to Michigan?

So 3-4 weeks before your cruise?
