And since it is a weekend I thought I'd share a few more older food pics with you all.
Those first ones aren't from Disney

but from UO from our 04 trip. I wasn't into the "take a photo of your food first" thing then, but the desserts we had at Mythos were just devine.
This was called "A taste of chocolate" and that is exactly what it was! It was yummy.
Starting in the upper left hand corner: chocolate ice-cream on a chocolate maccaroon
Moving clockwise: Chocolate Creme Bruleé, chocolate dipped strawberry, and chocolate lava cake. In the middle is a piece of chocolate, wrapped in filo pasty and deep fried!
Heaven on Earth for this chocolate lover.
And here's a much younger, slimmer, slightly "melted" version of me, trying hard to wait until the photo was taken before digging in.
Tom had the Creme Bruleé and a home-made maccaroon. Killer dessert!!
That same year we had our first taste of unofficial free Disney dining!

We were at AKL when Hurricane Charley hit and were told to stay at our rooms until notified otherwise.
The day before the storm they told us to stock up on supplies, like water and non-perishable food because everything at the hotel would be closed.
We picked up a large Disney pizza shortly before Mara closed. All I can remember about it is, that it was the wrong pizza (not what we had ordered) and that it was increadably greesy!
That same night we got a phone message to go down to Jiko in a special timeframe to pick up our "Emergency food pack" - our first FREE DISNEY DINING experience

Here's what we got!
One of the sandwiches was turkey and the other was ham. They were nothing special, but we thought it was a nice touch to hand them out anyway.
We had never experienced anything like Charley before, so once we were allowed "out" again we went shopping and this is what we found.
Yes, this IS a truck that was turned over by the storm.
The parks were closed for half a day after the storm I think and within 24 hours everything was back to normal.
Even the Musketeers were out and had a blast!
Have a fun weekend!
