Dreams and parades for the crowd-anxious

We're taking our two boys *today*

My 4 year old gets a bit stressed if he's in the middle of a large crowd, but really wants to see Dreams and the parade. I think the parade is possibly a no-hoper, but is there anywhere we could stand and watch Dreams which wouldn't be too crowded and still have a good view (and would ideally provide a quick getaway)? We don't mind if we're a good way back.

There's a few places I have in mind. Firstly, there is a fountain in front of the Plaza Gardens restaurant. If you sit on there while you wait for dreams then stand up when it starts, you will not feel too crowded as there's no one immediately behind you or in front. Secondly, there's a bench pretty much opposite the fountain. If you there early enough, you can save this bench and then when dreams starts there's no one in front of you because there's a flower bed there. Thirdly, (and my last option) is standing being the 'gardening shed' (which is where the dreams projectors are). Again, it's in front of a railing so no one in front of you. Have a great time!

Forgot about the parade! You will be able to see it! Stand near fantasia gelati/bella Notte. The parade starts here so your boys won't be waiting to see the floats for so long and it's never as busy as Main Street.

it is a very busy half-term week this coming week though, so you may need to stake out those spots early.
