Anyone interested in a family savenger hunt competition??? I was thinking of one on the boat and at Disneyland prior to the cruise. Any thoughts and interest?????

I am so excited for this cruise. I thought we might have to cancel again due to the flight prices but I think we are good now that we are driving. It takes away that anxiety.

UmmGood-Try search for fish extender and you will find more than enough information on it. There are threads on how to make one and how to participate. I think more details will be decided once it is closer but I think from reading the threads that you can decide how you want to participate if you want to get each family member a gift or one for the entire family. I am waiting to see how many families participate before I decide (but I made something really cool already). I don't want to take up too much room in the suitcases.

I hope everyone has a great week. It is hard to believe that it is almost October which is one month closer. I was thinking that I would get a few bags of candy after Halloween (on clearance) to take for cm on the cruise and for including with an autograph item.

We brought along a bunch of big bags of candy on the PC cruise, thinking we'd munch on it during the movies. I think we opened one bag, lol. We gave each of our serves, stateroom hostess, and the kids club counselors the party size bags of M&Ms and they were so thankful! I'll probably do the same this time

Thanks I'll have a look I think I'll wait until after Christmas to buy the candy since it will be a bit fresher. But then again it will be red and green haha.

Hi everyone...thinking about booking this cruise....we just got back from Alaska in July and am having withdrawals already

The cruise is such a good price in March and the boys are off for spring break( ages 18 and 15 time of cruise) that we would use our DVC points and go...no flight since live in San Diego...have been to Mexico so many times that we don't have to spend much money..just hang at the beach in Cabo....

Got the go ahead from my 15 year old...going to ask the other when he gets home...if he is a go ahead we will book tomorrow...

Although he will be 18 so if he does not want to he can stay home..he won't be here alone so have no problem leaving him...But that would make me sad...mostly since he will be leaving for college soon after that...

My son is very social and makes friends on the ship fast....have you been on a DC before and does your son like the teen club?

Because we are going into Mexico we will only be doing an excursion off the ship in Cabo....not PV....but PV has a shopping area right off the ship so will eat and shop there and in Cabo....

Thinking about whale watching although we have done that before but never in Cabo...

My son tends to be more reserve. Last cruise he was not old enough for the teen club and did not want to go in the lab with his sibling. He hung with his parents the entire trip. I am hoping he will venture out on his own some this trip.

What grade is your son in? Michael is a sophomore...also plays high school football....does he play any xbox games or comp games?

My son is also a sophomore. He is also athletic but in cross country, swimming, track, and baseball. He plays games on facebook and his psp. Does your son have a facebook page???

Yes he does...but it's a little scary says things on there that he does not elsewhere..you know teens when they talk with other teens....How s your teens FB

Being they are both Jocks they have that in common...my other son does track...he is a Senior but not going...

I will talk with him about chatting with your son...does your son like Football? Michael does not follow baseball that much but he does like it...he would have gone out for track but he is not fast enough...

How old was your son last cruise?

My son stays in the teen club till it closes at 2 than comes in the cabin and orders room service...he takes full advantage of the club and the teens in there...I of course can't sleep till he is in and tucked in....but this time as long as he keeps checking in I should be able to sleep....will set alarm for 2and if he is not in the next night he won't get the same privilege....

He loves the DC....he loves that we give him more freedom than at home.

My son likes to watch football. Sometimes it seems like that is all he is doing. He likes to watch college and professional. He will go out and play football with his freinds or throw the ball around. Do they have equipment like a football on the boat?

On the last cruise, he would have been in the lab? He stayed with his Dad and I and wasn't interested. I am hoping he will venture off a little. I think it sounds like fun and would have had a blast when I was his age.
