Someone posted a link to a webcam at Port Canaveral. I watched last Sunday as the Dream left the port. I could see my room and it was kind of neat to see it leave.

So after reading all the food porn descriptions and seeing the pictures... I have decided to diet now so I can fit out the door when the cruise is over.




Although, if you can't fit out the door, do you get to continue to cruise free of charge?

I made the mistake of gong over to the food porn threads too. Now I know that I need to go on a major diet. I plan on enjoying myself and want to try all sorts of new foods and of course drinks too. Between the cruise and WDW after I probably going to gain 10 pounds.

Well... we could all lose some weight before... and an additional 10 pounds for cruise food gaining... (unless you are super thin and then you might just want to get to your normal weight...lolol). I could lose that 10 pounds and you probably wouldn't even notice... Summertime is a great time as it is nice outside and so many fresh fruits and veggies available at reasonable costs. We went to the farmers market and got some veggies we haven't ever ate. I'll let you know...

We got yellow zucchini and Pattypan (sp?) squash.

Well I have wonderful news. My nephew who will be going on the cruise with us (his fiance as well) will get married the Saturday we get off the ship. This is great and wonderful but will add a bit of stress and will definatly take away the chance of WDW after. But it will be nice to be able to make it to the wedding even though we will have to go from cruise to high geer to get everything and everyone where it needs to be.

Well for those of you who have never cruised with Disney, when you finally wait your 16+ months, get to Florida, manage to get all the luggage checked in, fill out all your boarding documents, take your little picture for your KTTW cards, tuck your passports away for safe keeping and manage your children for the 2 hours or so wait in the terminal (don't forget no snacks or machines here and if you go early, your children will need a snack!) you finally get to walk through those Mickey ears to enter the ship! What happens?

First thing is a real quick don't blink or you will miss it family picture

2nd thing is that you give your family name and they announce Welcome the _________ family! and as you board two rows of CMs clap as you walk onto the ship! Yeah!!

Not yeah for all. There are those who do not want a group of strangers to know their young children's last names. There are those who like privacy and do not want it announced. There are those that have two last names for whatever reason and don't want to say the Smith/Jones family. For those of you who fall into that category... you can give them whatever name you want.

So this can open it up to something cute like Ty and his Mom and Dad or Nathans Fan Club! You can also change it up and be something fun like Friends of Captain Hook and hold up your index finger like a hook when you board. The CM's who are standing in the line do get a kick out of it apparantly.

Well, we were out to breakfast and your lovely man was talking geek talk and I sort of zoned out quietly and was thinking about the Disney cruise and :::OOF:::::: it just happened. I should try to upload that here. hahahaha And anything Disney reminds me of my lovely daughter in law to be!

See, told you it was a pretty butter knife. I've heard that DCL has gotten a lot grief with other guests who thought they were really pretty too. lol.

Sadly I am still hungry...

On another side note, one of my moms good friends from work showed me a picture of her dog, Bubbles, today and the only thing that I could blurt out as soon as I saw it was "BUT HE'S OBVIOUSLY a MICKEY!" Way to go Vanna, embarrass the crap yourself and your mom at her work while your at it.

To save myself from any further embarrassment on the boards, I must explain that her dog has this weird spot on his back, and it is in the exact shape of a mickey head, and it was the first and only thing that I noticed, next to the different colors that made it stand out.

I am now in the midst of my plans to clone him, just so I can have a dog that has a spot in the shape of a Mickey head and I can deem him Mickey. Hee hee hee.

Disney, oh Disney, what have you done to me?!
