Oh okay. We are going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party after cruise. I guess I just thought the whole month of October might be kind of Halloween themed. Pirates sounds like fun though!

We're going to the party too! I'm so excited. I've never attended one before. Will you be dressing up?

Cruise docs arrived today!! Gettin so close!

We will have extra FE gifts for any latecomers, so if the room number gets posted on the final FE list, then latecomers will at least get a couple things.

I'm so jealous. It makes the trip seem so much closer.

I'm counting down to the cruise by weekends. Four more weekends to go!

First timer to disney cruise just booked yesterday and heard from a friend about FE. I was so excited and she mentioned the disboards and i saw it might be too late to join. I know just like a recent college student to leave things for last minute

Don't worry my dear, you're not too late. I'm actually a college student (This means I really need to update the FE list) It seems many have prepared for late comers and the rule was made mainly for those making hand made gifts.

Everything you need to know will be in your Cruise guide and it should be arriving in the mail any day now! We do have a Dis Meet and a Dis FE Meet onboard. I haven't heard anything about where the Dis Meet is being held yet. I will try to get that information soon.

Lol thats a good idea. We havent decided whether or not we're dressing up. I think our luggage will decide that for us on whether we have enough space or not. Not having one would make a good excuse to buy a shirt...hmmm

I got my cruise docs yesterday along with my magical express tickets We're doing a day before and after the cruise at WDW. It feels like our cruise date will be here in no time.

Also, if anyone else is interested in the little overview of cruising with DCL that I put together for newbies, I'd be happy to share it with you. Its really basic, and most even might be covered in the cruise docs. But if you're interested, just PM your email address.

There are PLENTY of adults and families who dress up for pirate night. Although from my experience, more people dress up on the 7 night than the 3 or 4 night cruises. I believe because more people on 7 nights have cruised before, and a lot on the 3 or 4 are first time cruisers, and many don't even know there is a pirate party with optional costumes. We probably will not dress up this time because I want to ride the Aquaduck during the party, last time on the Dream it looked like so much fun to do during the late night party because the lights and effects and whole ship is lit amazingly, and I was jealous of everyone who was riding DURING the party. So I decided this time I want to do that!

But even if there's not tons of people dressed for the party, don't let it stop you if you and your family/friends enjoy it! Just do it, it's fun and you won't be alone for sure!
