I got the work schedule for next week! after tonights shift was over, only 4 more shifts til vacation! Everyone keeps asking if they can be the ones folded up in my suitcases!
One woman at work is actually REFUSING to talk to me because SHE doesn't get HER three day vacation because I am gone and asked for it the day I booked the cruise! How petty and childish is that? Ashley had one of her deli employees pissed off at her, because he got told no about three of his vacation days, because SHE will be gone, and its the lead into a holiday weekend!
Congrats to those graduating college tommorrow! Terra is breathing a sigh of relief right now. She didnt take time to do anything but study and work in the last three weeks, so she is about to crash big time, luckily she will bounce back just in time to cruise! I feel so badly for some of the college students from our school of journalism (U of MT) because someone got into the computers they had been using to render (whatever that means) their resume "tapes" and it took the last four days to re-convert all their finals into the right format! One of my friends was sweating it bad, and got his burned to disk at 545pm. Deadline was 559pm. Poor guy, I wanted to buy him a beer but was stuck at work!
Everything seems to be coming together! I have to run down to
walmart tommorrow to see if they have any more photo mats for autographs..... I have one, but need a second. My living room looks like the luggage store exploded in it, and my new messenger bag showed up today, so officially my carry on is more expensive than my whole set of luggage! Oops?
I played the charger round up last night, and got all my electronics charged, and chargers sorted, velcro-strapped, and ready to pack, the video camera and still camera are ready to be put into the carry on, passports are stacked with all reservation confirmation print outs, and the cruise book. Now I am going to wash EVERY BLOODY ITEM of clothing in my laundry room, that way packing will be made much easier with it all out in front of me! Why oh why do I feel woefully un-prepared today for some reason?
Oh yeah, and Ash, after already working nine hours today in her deli, is currently BACK in it, preparing 46 fruit trays, and 32 meat trays that were ordered for college graduation parties.
I had to refuse to "exchange" a nearly full keg of beer today, wich was a highly amuzing party foul! This kid brings in an almost full keg of Budweiser. Wanted to exchange it because it was "flat." We require the original stock room certificate, plus permanent keg ID tag, and register recipt to refund the keg and tap deposits. Turns out, this particular keg was purchased LAST JULY!!!!! they actually thought we would exchange it? Luckily the Grocery manager was there to read them the riot act! The kids only got their deposits back. PARTY FOUL!

Our kitchen Island and cabinet above the sink came yesterday. The painter stained them today, they are looking real nice! This cabinet maker , made them look just like our other cabinets and doors to the "T". HEY ! , B-T-W, what are you and PI doing a week from today?
......And do you know any carpenters that build boats and then go cruisin' on them?
Day3 - arriving to a pool party at the port with a bunch of FIRED UP cruisers!
