Do these actually work? My kids have a glow turtle - it works the same way- is supposed to project stars on the ceiling, but the light isn't strong enough to project well all the way up to the ceiling. Even with new batteries, I just wasn't impressed. My kids want these dream lites, too, but I'm skeptical to buy them.

Yes they work. I bought the dog for my son from Toys r us about a month ago. I think it is great!
