I hope you guys don't find this silly, but i am a newbie to this forum site and to cruising. I just wanted to ask what dh, ds, dd and fe means.

I can't want till we set sail!

I recently found out I am pregnant; therefore, we will not be running the CC 5k, as I will be about 11 weeks preggo on the ship!! I do believe they will have it both days, and the time should be on the Navigator. If I can find a recent 5 night double dip Navigator, I will check for you.

Congratulations!! That's exciting. Definitely take this as your chance to baby yourself. When I was pregnant and nursing, I was hungry like never before. Everything seemed to taste better (once those early icky weeks were over). Thanks for the info on the 5k.

Hi! I'm new to the board and just wanted to check in! Won't be doing FE as I think the baby is gonna have to ride on the roof as it is , but still I think it's fun knowing a little something about your other cruisers. We are a party of 6, on deck 5 in rooms 5022 and 5026! Cruisers are me, 32, my identical twin, our husbands, our mother, and my little baby nephew who is only 5 months old! We will be celebrating our birthday onboard on Saturday, so excited! It's my and dh second cruise, and everyone else's first so it should be fun!

Maybe I'm late or so. Tonight, I log onto DCL site to start booking my shore activities. Is Bike Rental really sold out?!!! I was so looking forward for a relaxing bike ride around CC being my first time there.

And...I couldn't find Boat rental anywhere even though I booked as favorite. I wanted to rent a trike circle around the water and play with my nephews.

Anyone have any suggestion as what to do? or do a wait and see thing?

The cruise line website says our Nassau day is our Pirate day. Does anyone have any conflicting info on this? Trying to book nursery time...

how rude of me... I just realized that I haven't even introduced our little party of 2.

It will be my DH Mike 31 and I 30, who will be joining you lovely folks on this cruise. Although we have been doing our yearly disney trip with my in-laws for the past 4 years, this will be our first disney cruise (1st ever cruise for that matter).

Three more weeks to go!!!

Hi all, doing my first cruise ever with my 11 year old son. We're both really excited, and I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the planning that's been going into this trip so far.

Can anyone help me with some of the lesser known stuff that would be helpful to know ahead of time? i.e. I've read something about magnets, would it be good to bring props or costumes for the pirate party, areas/activities that would be good for a somewhat recently single father (as opposed to couple or romance things), etc.

I can only speak to pirate night. They do sell props like hooks and swords and eyepatches on the ship, so if you have those things at home you could bring them. As far as costume you will see various levels of commitment. My mom will be wearing a potc shirt, my twin and I, who do renaissance fairs, will be wearing corsets n such!

Congratulation on being preggo!! That is awesome To be honest, this trip is for my mother 61th birthday bash, just so happen it 10 days before my Nephew turn 14. So we're celebrating two birthdays on this cruise. We alsoo (whole family (2 parties) NY & FL) received their travel doc. You have no idea how surprise and wonderful that is for us first time Disney cruiser.

As for PM: I am so sorry for late reply, I have yet to log into site for a month due to work. That and I couldn't reply to PM due to not posting enough.
I am still interested in FE with my family. I have yet to tell them about it, so it will be all up to me. Well, my mom and grandma won't understand it anyway (english is not their first language). Our family is a mixture of Asian and Caucasian decent. They'll think it something fun. I'm still debating how to do this all! I'm a bit nutty.

Quick question: We just drop off our presents at other folks cabin, right? I'm so excite and so much to do before the cruise. I have yet to get everything together!!

Julia... are you putting FE's on all 3 cabins or just 1 of them? (if so which one?)

Also... can you list out who is part of the FE (and if doing on more than one cabin, which cabins they are associated with).

i.e., how many adult men, adult women, teen boys vs girls (ages 12-17), children - boys vs. girls (ages 5-11), toddler/preschool boys vs girls (3-4), and baby - boys vs girls (2 and under). This would help if anyone is specializing their FE gifts based on age or gender.

Oh No!! It was listed as Day 4 (Sea Day) before so I booked Palo for Nassau day. So annoyed that they changed it!! Now have to figure out if I want to try to rearrange Palo and nursery time (if there are even alternate ressies available).

yeah... that messes me up too... I booked spa time for a couples massage at 9pm thinking it wouldn't interfere with anything. I'm not going to be happy if it's changed.

I just called... he stressed that NOTHING IS SET IN STONE.

But his computer is telling him that as of right now, that Pirate Night is still scheduled for the SEA DAY.

He said the night we leave Port Canaveral is a "Casual Dining" night... Day 2 is the Semi-Formal night... Day 3 is Casual... Day 4 is Pirate Night (he didn't mention Day 5, I assume since I was calling about Pirate Night).

He said I could call back within the two week window to see if it's changed, but for now that's what he's showing.

Yeah, I've read very mixed info on here too about the best info on pirate night. Seems like people get bad info from both the website and from calling DCL so even if I call I still won't feel confident about what the plan is.

I think I'm just going to leave my reservations as is (because I agree that it seems weird to do it on Nassau day and all the TRs I've read had it on Sea day) and then try to change on board if needed.

Edit: Thanks for the update Julie! That further makes me want to leave my reservations as is and 'wing it' on board if necessary. The day 2 semi-formal day 4 pirate night would be consistent with the recent trip reports I've read too...

for the record... I'm not that confident either... even after talking to the rep on the phone... back when someone here (sorry for not giving credit where credit is due) called to say the itinerary changed from A to C, the rep said there hadn't been a changed. But now it seems set that it's C...

I don't know why it has to be so confusing.

I ended up changing our spa rez to be the last night. Not sure I love that it's the last night, as generally we are feverishly packing to get our bags out the door by the deadline. I also had to call back to get them to cancel my original rez... I couldn't figure out how to do it online.


Now... to start looking at my packing list... what do I have to do? What do I have to buy? EEEEEEEEEEEEEP!

For the record, my travel agent told me Pirate Night was the Sea day as well.
