Dream July 19, 2011 - 5 Night Bahamas!

I also want to wish everyone a very happy holiday season!

We just got back yesterday from a 4 day Christmas cruise on the Carnival Paradise. It was our first time on a non-Disney ship. We had fun but couldn't help but compare everything to the Disney Magic. We are really having Disney withdrawals. Might have to see about booking a Disney summer cruise. A year and a half wait for the Dream is really long!

We are scheduled for the Dream on July 19 and have sailed with many of you on this thread - can't wait to see this new ship...seems like forever till we see the new ship! Lucy:cheer2::grouphug:

We are in too! Hate the thought of only 5 days, but we there was no other choices for the time period. I am going to work on my husband to book an additional 4 day too.

We are a big group if we all stick with it. Just got off the phone changing over 5 cabins from a date we booked last summer. We went to Tortola too, but in June.

Looking forward to seeing the new ship!

Happy Late New Year to All! Just put some more money down to pay for the cruise and viewed the aquaduck video over and over. I keep going back to the website to see what they've updated about the new ship. Nothing yet, but I want more details and pics and videos, etc.

I read somewhere where they were thinking of putting double sized beds instead of the queens they have on the Wonder & Magic that split to twins. I certainly hope they rethink that one! It's nice when not all in the room are 'together' or brother/sister combos that just don't work well for one bed. Not to mention just that much more room for those of us who are used to sleeping in Kings.

522 days til we sail!

Just checking in to see if anything is new. We did book a cruise for this summer, but decided to try NCL. We are going to be on their new ship called the Epic in July. The ship looks really nice with three big water slides and a beautiful courtyard area for suite guests. We are also still trying to decide whether or not we will go to DW before our Dream cruise. Is anybody else doing this?

We're considering a park visit before the cruise. We are overdue for a visit - the last visit was when the kids were 5 and 3 (now 15 and 12) Our experience wouldn't much different. Except, instead of returning to the hotel for their nap time, we would return for mine :lmao:

Last year before our Magic cruise we did 3 days at the Ron Jon resort with extended family and we had a lot of fun. The kids will have to make a choice - Ron Jon or WDW... We'll see what they decide.

Yes!!! We are going to do probably 4 or 5 days at the parks before the cruise. Work ourselves ragged in the parks and then we can relax on the cruise! Can't wait!!! :)

So excited!!:yay: Just booked the Dream for July 19, 2011 for me, my husband, DD16 and DS13-- ages at time of sailing. We went on the Disney Wonder in 2005 and I have been wanting to take a Disney cruise again ever since. Two stops at Castaway Cay-- love it!!! We will be on the 8th deck in the back of the ship.

Hey everyone! I called this afternoon and switched our "ghost date" that we had booked for December of this year to July 19, 2011. This will be our third Disney cruise. We will be on deck 6 midship in a cat 5d. It will be Me, DH, DS 13, and DD 9 at the time of the cruise. We are already so excited!! :cheer2:

There are 9 of us going right now. My family of 4, my sister and her kids, and the grandparents. This will be our second Disney cruise and we can't wait. Due to summer camp scheduling, we will be doing a few days at WDW after the cruise instead of before, but haven't booked that yet. Guess we'll relax first and then run ourselves ragged at the parks :)

Can't wait to meet everyone!

Happy days to all. We are also thinking about adding a few days, but probably after since it we will be disembarking on a Sunday which means a lot less Vacation Club points or cash by staying Sunday - Thursday instead of over a weekend if we went ahead of time.

Been keeping uptodate on the building of the Dream - I'm a fan of a facebook page for DCL. They keep sending out little tidbits - like the look of the adult pool with swim up bar! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!!!

Hey everyone. Got a question ... anyone know why my cruise ticker gets cut off on the bottom of my signature? It looks fine when I preview it. Any help would be appreciated :)

Thanks!

Woo Hoo!!! Count us in too!:banana: We are a party of 3...Me, DH, and DD who will be 10 on the cruise. We booked a Cat. 8D on deck 6. This is our first Disney Cruise and we are SOOOO excited!!:cool1:

We, too, were "supposed" to be on the July 18 Tortola Cruise, but my dad got really sick (just passed away this year) and we had to cancel. Many of your names look very familiar! Hoping that we finally get to meet face-to-face on the Dream!!!!:cloud9:

It may be because there's too many lines in your signature. Try combining your vacation dates on several lines or take away blank lines in between and see if that works.

Yes, that was the problem. Thanks!

Also, my daughters, currently ages 12 and almost 10, spent some time email chatting and getting to know other girls their age leading up to our last cruise. Any tween girls out there coming on this cruise that might be interested in some chatting? If so, PM me and I'll hook you up with my daughters' emails.
