Dream July 19, 2011 - 5 Night Bahamas!

Hi Everyone! We just decided today to book this cruise. We have a dummy booking for Dec 2010 and need to move it. I will be calling the ta in the morning. Looks like we will get a 9A since that is the lowest price left. We will be celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary (July 19) and my dh proposed to me at WDW, so we finally decided we want to spend our Ann. with Disney. We will do a week at the parks and then the 5 day Dream. We are so excited to see the new ship and the additions to CC.

We are me and dh (early 40's) and our kids are dd who will be 10 and ds who will be 13.

It's official! We are booked in a 9A cabin 8008. Our first Ocean view cabin. We have sailed in insides for the first 3 cruises, our first balcony will be in Nov. on our Princess cruise and now the OV. We are super excited. Now, I just have to start on the door decorations.

Also, my dd would love to email and chat with the other girls. She is very social and loves to text using her brother's phone. Her email is dudeanddiva at gmail.

Welcome Jennifer! How exciting to celebrate your 15th anniversary onboard. Last year we went to DW for our 20th anniversary and had a great time. I know you guys will have a blast and you will enjoy the OV room.

Just got back from Disneyland! Crowded with the new Color of Magic show - only saw it from the sides from the hotel. People told me they got soaked watching it. I'll guess they'll have to tweak it a bit (or sell the panchos!).

After standing in lines I can't wait for the cruise - were there are virtually no lines! (except the buffet line!)

Hi Everyone!

We are quite excited. After reading all about the kids sail free for the mr, we decided to book for Spring Break. Funny thing is, the week we booked was not on the promo. I knew it wasn't one of the promo dates. I was searching cruises and our week was the only one avail. for booking. Thought I should grab it while it was avail. I made a booking and put a cabin on hold and just handed it to my dh. He was actually ok with it and called and made the deposit. So, we now have 2 DCL cruises for 2011.

we just booked 4 staterooms!!!6 adults, well i guess thats 7 dd will be 18, ds12,ds4, and nephew3. We were on the wonder in june 09 3night cruise, and loved it. my kids cant wait, and I have to admit me either. ds was 2 last time and wasnt old enough for the kids clubs. next year I might get some ME timedoesnt happen very often.I booked a cat11 and the kids are mad, so I might call back and upgrade to a cat 9, the price isnt that much different. Just more overtime!!!

We are a bit slow on this thread right now but as usual, I'm sure things will pick up much speed when we get closer to our actual sail date.

I kind of like it slow like this - you can start to get to know some of us. I'm also booked on the Cruise to Neverland (Jan 21-23) - its a two night cruise from LA to nowhere. DCL filled a couple of open days after the Wonder repositions to California and before they start the Mexican Riviera. That thread has over 1200 posts and its only for 2 nights!!!!

We have decided to bump up this cruise and join the June 12th sailing!! We have a trip do WDW planned for next Friday the 16th and it feels like we have wasted away the entire summer just waiting on vacation!! It was even cheaper to change dates ...we went from 4e (July 19th) to a 4a (June 12th) and saved almost $700!! I will miss getting to know everyone!! I hope you all have a great sailing!!

Jennifer! Love your countdown - 1 year!!! cool1: I confess, I wasn't paying attention to the calendar - I'm just trying to survive this summer with my sanity intact! My husband is out of town for work most of this summer; I am solo parenting and it seems like I'm living in my car. I'm thankful for busy, active kids who aren't sitting at home bored, picking on each other, but I'm ready for some down time!

Well gang, I have to change cruises! I've had this one set for over a year. My daughter is active in a summer day camp for girl scouts. Next year's camp will be when we had planned this cruise. She will be an aide which apparently is "so cool" that she was willing to stay home than to go on the cruise. Can you believe that? Anyhow, since it was over a year away we decided to be good nice and cool parents and move our trip to August. So now I'm on the August 2 cruise.

Anyhow, I've got the first post on this thread. If someone wants to take over the roll call let me know and I can post in Post #1 where that list is located. It's a shame since this seemed like a good bunch of people I'd like to get to know better. (I've checked out the other cruise meet thread and there isn't much going on there).
