ok, this is a weird request, but maybe someone can help me.
I really want to buy my son an authentic Native American dream catcher. I know I can order them online, but I want him to see them and choose his own. This way maybe it will work for him.
He has been having nightmares and knows about the 'power' of dream catchers. I bought him a chapo little one at a local store, but after seeing the real one his teacher had he knows his is 'fake'.
So, what I am hoping is to find a store somewhere during our vacation. We are driving to WDW via the 57/24/75 route from Chicago. Maybe there is something along the way?
Is there a good Native American store near WDW? Also we are driving to Venice one day during our stay. Maybe there is something between WDW and Venice?
Or maybe there is some sort of icon in African culture that might be available at AK or AKL?
We have been through all the standard bad dream tricks...spray bottle, night lights, glow in the dark stuff and so on. Nothing seems to work, but like I said he is fascinated with the story behind the dream catchers.
I know we could make one, but I think having him buy one from a Native American might make a bigger impact on him.
Thanks.

They were only a few bucks, though, and served their purpose - my kids were also facinated with the concept of dream catchers. This was several years ago that I bought them, I think 2000, so not sure if they are still there or not.
Next week is L for Lighhouses and Lewis & Clark. If things go well, we get to meet the dogs next week. She is hoping to do it on Wednesday so Sam and I dont miss them since we will be out on Thurs and Friday.
