These pics should give you the general idea. I've got a few more if there is anything specific that you want to see. FWIW, we loved the room!

thank you so much! We are very excited and have heard this was a great stateroom!

This was my room also. Would take it again. A lot bigger than I though it was going to be.

We were in 7004 last weekend. I took pictures and made a review here: Link

Looking for pics of corner/handicapped cabin 6006, cat 9A. We'll be in that cabin in a couple of weeks! :woohoo:

Any info on that cabin is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you see posts 117 and 118...they talk a little bit about 6006 but no pics.

You might try searching for Timon's trip report from the Jan 30th cruise...she has TONS of pics of all different cabins and there might be one of 6006...I think they have an index on the first post.

Just realized 6006 would be a reverse copy of 6504 and I think there are pics of that cabin earlier in this thread.

we had 6504 and it was fine. tons of space, slanted walls do not feel like an attic, b/c space is SOOOO big. you have to lean to look out window and you can't see out from most of the room. i am sort of claustophobic and have to have a window, and this room was fine for me b/c of the big space. the bath is huge, but the HA shower is a pain. we put some extra towels on the floor to avoid water getting int he rest of the bathroom. the bath smells just a bit of mildew--dh thinks it is bc of the drainage system. no power washing at 4 am, and minimal noise from vibe, but just at closing. we also had a balcony, inside and FOV room for family and we swapped rooms to have a tub. the FOV room is good, the inside and balcony rooms seemed very small to me compared to celebrity and carnival rooms. i will say that being a corner room had MUCH less noise than other rooms. other rooms, we could hear rooms next door, toilets flushing, noise from hallways.
if you want space for kids, this is a great room. also, confirmed that there is no privacy curtain.

You just hit on 2 of my concerns with 6006. Water getting all over the floor from the handicapped shower since there is no "ridge" to hold the water in. And noise from the connecting room. We booked this GTY, but normally I would never ever book a connecting room.

not a peep from the family of 4 next door to 6504. But, we could hear the TV and loud noise from the connecting room of the 8th deck FOV we switched to--sort of wished I had just put up with the shower and kept 6504. I thought the soundproofing was the worst I have ever had---clearly hearing toilets flushing, doors closing, etc. You could also hear the rudders (?) even on the 8th floor when the ship was docking--so, at 7AM on CC day for at least an hour and 5:30AM on departure day, impossible to sleep. I thought that was an issue only with lower or aft rooms.

HI-
For those of you that had 9A category cabins, were any of them GTY? If so, where were you assigned and when did you find out.

We have two rooms set for a sail in August, one is assigned to the 8th deck (8C) and the other is 9A GTY.

We were GTY for 9A and were assigned corner/handicapped cabin 6006. We are sailing in May and got our assignment in March.

we also had gty. It makes sense that they hold the HA for last in case anyone who needs HA books. so, I think you have a decent likelihood of getting a HA on a sold out cruise. I was on the Easter cruise which was sold out for 10+ months. On a non-sold out cruises, I would not worry so much. If we got 6504 again (and did not have to have a bathtub), I would have been fine with it--and I am VERY picky. I got my assignment March 7 for the April 17 sailing.
