Dream 8A Disney limiting 4 berth room to 3 people?

Im trying to move my room booking for the 13 Night WB Oct 2024.
Currently have a Family Verrandah booked but have seen that there is an 8A available and with 2 Adults and 2 Children I think the extra space would be better than the verandah. However Disney will only let you book the 8A with 3 people even though there are video walkthroughs of the exact room specifically showing it does sleep 4?

What's going on here, any idea why Disney are limiting these 4 berth rooms to an occupancy of 3?
Im sure its not "deck capacity" or "life boat capacity" as I can book the room next to the 8A (an 8C) on the same deck for 4 people.

Im confused!!

The cutoff between two muster stations might be between those two rooms. The one you are aiming for might be full while the next one is not. A good indication of that would be if all the other staterooms around those two are sold. If there are others in the direct vicinity open for booking, there is another reason, but if those two staterooms are the only ones available, they are not in the same muster.

Its certainly odd.
Even speaking to Disney didn't really give me any answers, there were a lot off "its could be this, or this, or this, or this"!

You didn't mention the room number but have you checked the fan-made stateroom spreadsheet for this room?

When I download and view only the 8As on the Dream. There's a lot of variety in muster station, physical layout, and most of them on deck 5 only have capacity for 3.

A lot of the 8As only sleep 3. No pull down bunk.

6012, 6510 & 6016 all should sleep 4, but Disney only letting me book 3 into each room.
Incredibly annoying as ill have to book a smaller room to have more people!

It has to be a lifeboat issue. As soon as I look at the sailing after the WBTA, I can put 4 people in those rooms.

Have now managed to book 4 people into a 8A room.
