Just off the Dream on Thursday after a really great 5-night to Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay. Haven't sailed on her for nearly eight years and she still looks fantastic. Captain Jason and CD Carly led a great crew; excellent Disney service all the way around. Weather cooperated although Deck 13 forward (Satellite Falls) was closed for part of our second sea day due to high winds. The food was good and Palo was exceptional (as always). Holiday decorations were very nice and most importantly I got to see my favorite bookworm! Can't wait for the Magic (both CC and Lighthouse Point) next fall.dream lobby 1.jpgbelle.jpg

Thanks for the report. How was embarkation/debarkation process at Port Everglades/Ft. Lauderdale? I've read that the first cruise had some issues. We will be on the Dream for the first time in January.

We’re on this cruise next year; can’t wait! We haven’t sailed on the Dream since 2011 - our very first cruise.

Embarkation was a breeze. Fastest ever. Granted, I was able to use the Pearl/Platinum line, but the general line was moving nicely as well. I arrived at 12 noon and was on the ship within minutes.

Disembarkation was quick (I did walk-off around 8:30. No massive line in the atr9ium, which surprised me. I had to wait about 15 minutes for a taxi, but other than that it went very well.

Do you happen to know where the dining folks were on embarkation? We were not able to snag Palo Brunch in advance so I want to make that my first stop. It looks like it should be enchanted garden, can you confirm?

On the Dream it should be Enchanted Garden. Always check the app once you get to port (and the app switched to 'ship mode') to confirm it didn't move. But it's been Enchanted Garden on the Dream for years.

We were also on your sailing and had a wonderful time. Slower than normal service at dinner but otherwise it was an amazing cruise! Especially since it was a sold out sailing
