Downtown Disney

If you have driven to Downtown Disney, was it difficult to find a parking space? It always seems to crowded there and all I can picture is spending a lot of time looking for a parking space.

When I am in Disney... I usually use their bus system but have on occasion driven to DTD... You may have trouble finding one close but since we do so much walking in Disney anyway..., I know you will find one not too close but within walking distance.

There is tons of parking at Downtown Disney. It really depends where you plan on going. There is more parking at the West End than the Marketplace. If the Marketplace is full, then try the West End. You may have to walk further, but at least you will have a parking spot.

We always it DTD in the early afternoon of a non-park day. There is usually no trouble with getting really close parking then.

We also visited DTD in the early afternoon of a non-park day and had no trouble parking close. Actually parking the car was a lot easier than manuevering our way around in World of Disney

I agree it depends on the time of day you try to go to - we drove over around 8 pm last Friday (3/21) and it took some doing to find a spot (but we did).

Whenever we have been to DtD in the evening, usually at about 7.30 to 8 ish, we almost find it near impossible to find a parking space! (Marketplace area)

There is always the option of valet parking - but this costs $$'s.
