Downtown Disney?

Hi All,

To access Downtown Disney, do you have to activate your Park ticket or is it seperate from them (and you're free to stroll around whenever you want)?

DTD is really just an outdoor shopping mall. Yes, they have a very large World of Disney store there and there is Disney merchandise available at many of the other shops as well, but it really is just an outdoor mall with a theater, restaurants and sidewalk vendors.
