Downtown Disney Parking

When I visited in September 2014, getting to/from DTD was horrible! There was no parking because of construction and the resort buses were few and far between. I'm going again this September 2015 and I know a parking garage has opened. How big is the garage? I'm staying offsite this time and will need to drive. Will I have any problem parking? Does it fill up at night?

I was there a couple of weeks ago, one parking garage is open (although still looks under construction) They are still directing traffic to casting parking so you need to drive past casting and then you will see the parking garage signs. The walkway from the garage to dtd (by the bowling alley) was not constructed so foot traffic was sent to enter dtd near cirque

Yes, the garage is mostly open, but they are still working on where it will connect to I-4. The elevated walkways from the garage into the West Side opened a couple of weeks ago.

I don't know whether it fills up at night. I was there in the evening about a month ago and by the time I left (I think around 7pm) people were parking on the 3rd level.

As PP said, they are still parking in the overflow lots, so apparently the number of spaces available in the garage is less than the ground spaces lost to construction.

Well, good to know that it's at least a possibility. We can try to park in deck first and if it's full, go to other lot. Anything has to be better than it was last fall. Thanks for your replies!
