Can I park in the DTD lot in the morning to go to the ticket booths? I know it is 3 hours free.

cool, thanks. Isn't it the lot behind Rainforest Cafe? That's not so far, it's just my boyfriend and I that will be walking (we're in our 20's).

It's about 1/3-1/2 mile depending where you park.

Not too far if you are walking all of the park.

I park there fairly often and it's not that far of a walk. The only time it seems like a long walk is when I have to carry DS. You should be fine.
