Downtown Disney in December?

I know the parks close early but does Downtown close early too? I am thinking we can go to the parks and when they close head to downtown disney to shop but if they close early obviously this will not work.,

Marketplace closes at 11pm. Not sure about West side and PI I believe closes at midnight or 1. Not sure but I am sure someone else knows

Dec is our favorite time to go! We are total shop-a-holics down there and we never had trouble getting in all the shopping we wanted at DTD. We did close the place a few times though! Like I said, SHOPAHOLICS! Don't worry in the least about it. One note though, we had a rental car. MUCH easier to get around faster. Plus, carring all those shopping bags on a bus would be murder on the back and arms!

If the parks are closed, but DTD is still open do they still run transportation to the resorts? Just wondering.

Yes, there is transportation to and from the resorts as long as DTD is open. I think it even runs an hour or so after closing.
