Downsizing...Upsurging....DOUBLE UPDATE

:wizard: good luck Richard - hope its not one of those hippy-dippy-happy-clappy interviews where you have to all pretend to be trees :wizard:

OMG I would hate to be in your shoes, just because I would be no good in a role playing situation with strangers doesn't mean I would be no good at the job. Its a weird way of doing things these days, I think I'll have to stop a hospital domestic for the rest of my days, at least it was a straight forward interview. Good luck.

Just got back from sunny Bournville. I feel like alien has extracted my brain. Having a large wine at the moment.

At least it's over now! :goodvibes

It's one of those role playing/aptitude test/multi-choice test affairs. So I should imagine I'll be "canine-privates-shattered" at the end of it. They then decide whether to call you back for the final interview. It'll be harder than doing an honest day's work I bet. :lmao:
I don't enjoy them either, especially if it ends in a dinner with the opposition, I mean other candidates and you see who networks, performs the best :goodvibes

Best of luck in your interviews :thumbsup2

Hope it went well, and also that you still feel you want the job ;)

Well, I had my interview with another company last Thursday. A more junior role (and £12.5K a year less that what I was on) - but it keeps me off the streets. This was a very simple interview and I flew through the process with ease. Apart from the salary they are a very good company to work for. Unfortunately, I'm not expecting a positive result. The Head of Department and his assistant who were doing the interview had less experience than me and I could read the assistant's bodily language easily...."I'm the assistant manager of the department, you've got more experience than me, you may challenge for my position, therefore I'd prefer not to have you on board".

We'll just have to see what the outcome is. It's all good practice though.

Will keep my fingers crossed for you Richard :)

Hope you've mis-read the body language. Fingers crossed here too

Unfortunately, my Bournville trip proved fruitless. Never mind, it's all good practice.

Oh Well, the agency just rang. It was felt that I had far too much experience for the role they were offering. Looks like I'll have to work on the "dumbing down" a little.

Hope something turns up soon Richard:)

hope for a positive result soon Richard...

:)

Sorry to hear you're just too brilliant ;)

Hope something turns up soon
