Okay, you all might think i'm crazy but i could have swore i saw somewhere that Disney now how a kiosk or something where you can download pictures from your digital camera onto a website and retrieve them later.

Is this true... or have i just completely imagined it all? :earboy2:

And if it is true, has anyone used this? Is it completely trust worthy or should i just bring more than one memory card?

Thanks so much for all your help.

Welcome to the DIS, PrncssSonya, I hope you can visit often.

I can't answer your question so I'm going to bump this back to page one for you and hopefully some of our veterans can give you an answer.

I read a thread earlier on this forum and some people stated that they now offer to burn your pictures from your camera to a disk. They also stated that the CM's did not seem to confident in doing this and that some did not know how to do it :confused3 . I would not want to trust my precious photos to someone that was not 100% sure of what they were doing. I bought a larger card for my camera and now if I need I can just dump them onto a laptop. I hope you can get better information from someone who actually experienced this. Good Luck.

:earsboy: WELCOME to the DIS PrncssSonya!!! :earsboy:

I haven't heard about being able to download your own pictures but Disney is now putting the pictures they take...the souvenir pictures at the parks... that used to be purchase at the camera centers can now be found online .It's called PhotoPass.WDW now has a website, with all the poses they've taken of you and your family.I think they're up for a couple months and you can purchase them online.

Here's a link to that explains it: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/special/specialindex?id=DisneyPhotoPassPage&bhcp=1&

My friend just asked abotu this on our recent trip. What they do is the can burn the pictures from your memory card onto a disk. This can be done at the camera store in each park. I'm not sure how much it was since my friend had only asked about it at the time but, I think it was $9.99 per disk.
