Does anyone know how much and where we can download our photos from our camera to a disc? We don't want to bring our laptop and will not have a car.

I know the camera center at Epcot had this service last year, but at a premium. Honestly, for the cost it'd be better just to buy a larger card (I got a 1GB Sandisk ultra off eBay for under $60) and be able to store 1000 photos without worry.

Actually they have a photo station located in every park. It is the place that you would go to pick up a photo that was taken of you by a disney photographer anywhere throughout the park. They also have the camera services there, where you can have then burn your digital photos to a CD.

I am not sure if they still have this, but I believe that they still do the 35mm cameras too where you can drop off your film to them, and they can print them for you.

hi! just thought id share our experience with the whole camera thing from last .... i had 2 memory cards (256mb each) and we didnt want to buy the laptop so i bought a 512mb card thinking that would be plenty. well, i took alot of pics plus i had the setting on more pixels (which im told eats up the avavilable memory). well our trip started on a sun and by wed morning, i needed to "dump" my pics (plus i felt safer that i wouldnt somehow accidentally lose my precious pics) besides, i had researched where i could download them within the parks. each park has a location and from what i read it would cost me about $12.95 a disc. not too bad i thought. if i spent around $40 it would be worth it not to have to lug the laptop. so the story goes that i walked into the emporium in mk and proceeded to do this. the cms working were not to computer/camera savvy and pretty soon there were three of them trying to help before a younger gentleman who was very technical savvy (thanks to him!) was able to help me. the hitch.... the discs dont hold very many pics, so i was going to have to buy 6 discs instead of the 3 i planned on! big expense! not to mention that it is a VERY lengthy process to dump your pics onto a disc. in fact, while waiting for me to empty my memory cards, some of my sons fav characters were outside and he had to pose and allow photo pass to take the pics (which made this process even more expensive because now i had to buy a photo for 12.95 that i could have taken for free!) the machines used to do this are the kodak picture maker machines like they have in walmart and target. long story short (sorry, i just wanted you to understand what our family went through and why weve decided to do it different this year!) it would have been worth it to take the computer and a few of our own discs. this year our plan is:
1. take the laptop and some discs
2. allow photo pass to take tons of photos and buy that disc (ive read that its about $100 but will hold about 300 pics- and thats cheaper than just buying your faves @ 12.95 a pop!)
hope my (longwinded) advice helps!

Thanks for the advise...it sounds like the easiest thing will be to take the laptop and the kids could also use it on the plane to watch a movie. :)

Like twinklebug mentioned, there are sales for 512MB and 1Gig memory cards all the time. Keep your eye out if you still have some time before your trip. If you grab a few more memory cards, you shouldn't have to lug your laptop down with you. I just grabbed a couple of 512MB Compact Flash cards for our camera for about $25 each from Circuit City about a month ago. Between all our old and recently purchased memory cards, we now have about 2 Gigs worth of storage, which easily lasts more than a week for us, and we have our camera settings for better than average size and quality of picture. And we take a LOT of pictures. lol

You can do this in MK I think it is 10 dollars a disk that is what we paid last May anyhow. It is very expensive if you have an IPOD you can buy a camera adapter for it and hook your camera up to it and transfer your pics directly to the ipod.
