I am so very excited. As you may remember I had to cancel last year the day we were to leave as I had to have 2 surgeries. I have just called and booked the Lodge for a few days at the end of this month. I am so excited I can hardly sit here to type this. We got the AP summer rate for woods view. My Hubby is packing as I write.............

My door bell just rang and I recieved a Mother's day gift purchased and sent from Wilderness Lodge...How great is that..and it wasn't even from one of my own kids but a lovely girl I met on the boards........ It is truly a GREAT DAY.

Lou-Ann, glad to hear that you're getting your WDW trip in! That's one of my greatest fears - to have a trip all scheduled, and have to cancel it for a medical reason. I'm going through all kinds of tests myself right now, for pain in my abdomen, and the doctors better find a reason (and a treatment!) for it before my August trip!

Here's hoping they can find the answers for you fast and that you can be able to enjoy your trip in comfort. I was just in too much pain to go. Had the suitcases by the front door and hubby came home to load the car all excited as it was to be for our 25th anniversary and I had to tell him I had just called to cancel. Not a good day. That is why this trip means so much to me. Spent two months in my room following the knee replacement and now I cannot wait to get to the Lodge.

Wow, Luanne. I don't often run into someone with my name. It is very nice to meet you.
We leave a week from this Wednesday. i am getting soooo excited I can hardly stand it. Thanks for all the well wishes everyone. This trip is long overdue.
