Down to 16 Days but I Have a Bump on my Finger.

I am really excited and nervous. We are leaving in a little of two weeks. I am flying down for the first time ever and am really stressed about it but I figure if I survive the flight, I will not have to drive 36 hours round trip to WDW anymmore.
Now comes this; last Sunday I noticed a little hard bump on the very top joint of my index finger. It doesn't hurt and it's maybe only a couple milimeters in size. It isn't red. It under the skin. I looked it up and it sounds like a myxoid cyst which is a leakage of fluid from that joint in the finger tip.
It's not serious and sometimes they go away or sometimes they can be removed. It's freaking me out but I don't want to go to the doctor before I leave because I don't want to be worried about any test results before I leave(I know it's probably nothing). I have a doctor's appointment scheduled for October 7th, just after we return from our trip. I figure that is when I will tlak to the doctor about it, if it's even still there. I hate when there is a monkey wrench thrown in just before we leave for vacation.
I am an over-worrier. I am worried enough about just getting on a plane, now I have to worry about a bump on my finger tip! What the heck!

I've had one for about 10 years on my finger. It causes no problems and will do no harm to anything surrounding it. Unless it gets cumbersome, I'd just ignore it.
