I knew I was up from the LONG Valentine's/President's day weekend, but YIKES! I had the nerve to go to my WW meeting and I was up pretty close to 3 POUNDS!:( I didn't think I had been THAT bad!:eek:

I have been going to Curves for 2 or 3 weeks now and I just went to the store to try on some shorts. All 3 pairs were size 16 (I am currently wearing a baggy size 18). Trying to decide if it is ALL overindulging or maybe I might have found a new muscle or two. I am now very determined to get back on track! Now were is that journal of mine?

Have faith, my friend. This is a marathon and not a sprint. Muscle mass weighs more BUT burns more calories! It is likely you are gaining muscles from Curves. Be patient and faithful perhaps try those cheat-free clippies I've seen on the bottom of people's posts - they might motivate you!
 
to read this post today. i have not done well all week, TOM and too many meals out.

I like the marathon analogy. you are so right

Hang in there rs--- I'm determined to make it through this weekend and make next week much better. I know i will feel better and have more energy and i'm focusing on that and not the junk!
 
I'll bet it's just that rascal bloat fairy and as soon as you get back on program the fluid will leave you.

Don't feel guilty about the past, it's over and done and you can't go back and change it. Just focus on right now. Right now you sound motivated and determined.

You're back on track and headed for goal and I'm proud of you.
