I had a pin code for 40% off our room so I booked a trip for Sept. Now the free dining is released and it would be amazing to get that too. I'm pretty sure you can't technically use more than one deal but I swear I have read posts from people who have. Ant thoughts or tips from anyone who has done this?:confused3

Nope, can't use both. But 40% code are gold. If you're staying at a value, it's a better deal, and most of the time at a moderate too.

Correct...you can not double up discounts. I got the 40% off PIN code also. I joked around and said I was holding out for the 40% and free dining! ;) Of course, Disney won't allow that. We used free dining last September, but decided that as our kids get older, it is too hard to miss school for that length of time. So I used the 40% PIN and booked for the end of May after school gets out.

You can do what I did. Five nights at ASMu with free dining, followed by five nights at POFQ at 40% off. We'll use the tickets that we get with the FD package for both parts of the trip. I feel like it is the best of both worlds.(At least, the best that we can afford.)

Actually, the 40% code is usually better at a deluxe not at a value or moderate. At a value or moderate Free Dining is generally a better deal. The more expensive the room the bigger the savings with the 40%. You do have to take into account your family's eating habits but generally if you're not staying deluxe then free dining will save you more money. There is a great chart somewhere around here that spells out which discount is better. It's really great at spelling out which discount is better based on where you stay and how many people are in your family. We had both offers and for our family of five, even staying deluxe, free dining was a bigger savings.

Up until this afternoon I had Wilderness lodge booked with a 40% off code, but free dining was going to be the bigger savings, so while i was making changes i downgraded to CSR and saved even more:banana::banana::banana:

The ONLY time this was possible was last years free dining bounceback. When I booked in Sept last year during my trip for this year the flier had SELECT resorts with 30% plus the free dining, but it was only for SSR or OKW.I managed to get BCv by dumb luck.It generally is not the norm, and like I said only selected resorts were part of it.

I have the 40% pin for our Aug. trip. I did the math and the 40% off is a much better deal for us staying at the POLY then the free dining. We save over $400 more with it. Would be very nice if we could use both but oh well.

But thats not combining two differant codes. That was one code that happened to have two offers. But youre right that was the ONLY time theyve done that

I am thinking of taking advantage of the free dining promo. Never done dining as an option on any other trip.

Question I have about the above plan is
What do you use to obtain the dining, your room key?? If so, how is the dining going to be able after your check out date?

You wouldn't have free dining for the 2nd part of the trip in the example posted, only the first part. The 2nd part would be 40% off the room, period - no free dining.

The DDP is good up until midnight of your check out day as long as you still have credits left. You keep your room key, you dont have to turn that in
