Doubletree and Hilton in DD walking distance?

We need to rent a car to get from DW to the cruise terminal. I have really good rates from Budget and Avis, which are located in DD hotels. We're staying at POFQ...can we take the bus to DD and then walk to one of these hotels? Or is it too far?

Also, does anyone know how long it will take to get from the Avis or Budget desks in Port Canaveral to the actual terminal?

Hi,

The Hilton is just across the road from Downtown Disney ( the market place and the bus stop) ( say 5 min walk to the lobby area) . I usually stay at the Hilton when i visit WDW for at least a few days and walk into Downtown Disney. The doubletree would be a further 10-15min walk past the hilton
