Double Tree Suites DS for dropping off rental car?

I can get a good deal on a car that we would pick up at MCO and drop off at Doubleree Suites in DS. My husband would be dropping it off and then coming back to our resort (grand floridian). The rental company is Budget. When I google the hotel it says its less then a mile from DS. My husband is not going to want to walk a mile to DS in mid August to get on a bus. Any other way to get a ride back to GF?

we used that location in March and Uber back to the yacht club was about $10 Super easy!

Uber/Lyft would be super easy.

It may not work with your plans but I would consider going together to drop off the car and hitting disney springs for a meal or something. Then bus or Uber back to your resort.

You could Uber to DS from doubletree which would take less than 5 minutes but the walk really isn’t too bad.
