Double Stroller for a 2.5 yr. old and infant?

We will have a 2.5 yr old and a 3 month old when we go in September. I am looking for double stroller recommendations for both while we're in Disney and while I'm out and about with them by myself at home.

I really would like something that reclines fully for both kids AND has a snack tray area for older DD. I was looking at the Combi Twin Sport EX, but we went to BRU to check it out and DD already seems cramped in there and she's just 2.

We have two single strollers already, a Graco Quattro that's part of a travel system and a Maclaren Quest. DH thinks we should just use the 2 singles and not bother with a double, but I'm not sure that I want to have to keep track of 2 strollers.

We will be driving to the parks, so lugging a heavy stroller on and off the buses isn't an issue for us.

Does anyone have any experience with the Combi, or any advice on a different stroller that might meet our needs? Obviously, my kids are still young so I need something that will last.

Thanks!

I went to disney several years ago when my children were similar in ages. We took one stroller and used a baby sling. It worked well for us, but my DD loved to be in the sling, buy I don't think all babies do. We would put the baby in the stroller when the older one wanted to walk. I have the Maclaren double and really like it, but all I really have experience with are Maclaren strollers. Similar to the quest in features, just a little wider. My friend has a Phil and Ted where the baby stays in a little seat behind the main seat (you have to look at a picture). She loves the stroller as it is smaller than a typical double.

I'm a huge fan of the Baby Jogger strollers as they have such a high maximum height and weight limits so it may very well be the last stroller you'll ever need. Great sun canopies, easy fold, steers like a dream on just about any terrain, and there is an optional child snack tray you can purchase.

The BJ City Mini is a very nice double and is small enough to not be cumbersome indoors. My 5 year old and 2 year old fit in it easily and it's so easy to push, even with 80lbs of kid.

We were in the same boat as you and we chose the babytrens sit n stand deluxe. We love it for several reasons. It has a snack tray, a parent tray, easy to push. We love how it will grow with us because right now it has 2 seats, but can be transformed for the back to have a jump seat.

We just got back from disney and it worked out great. Our kids are 2.5 and 8 months. Also there are full sunshades for both seats which is great down there. We noticed a ton of these strollers down there,so we must not be the only ones that liked them

But the main selling point was the price- $159.99 on target and free shipping. I liked some of the side by sides, but I wasn't paying $300+ on a stroller. I also like having the parent tray and a smaller base to push on. Some of the side by side handle set up would kill my back!

I second the Baby Jogger. We have the double and it is WONDERFUL. Since you won't be using the busses, you won't have any issue lugging it on those either. The sun shades are great especially for a little one--our twins were 3 months old when we took it. My DS5 also fits in it great! You will be able to use this stroller a LONG time.

I had a single Combi for DS, which I loved for a couple years, but he grew out of it quickly and it was hard to steer, and he isn't very big.

I'd definitely consider the BJ. It doesnt come with a snack track or parent console, but you can buy them for it, and now you can even get a carseat adapter for one side. :thumbsup2
