We are at the Polynesian for Thursday and Friday night.

Oh I'm so jealous!!! A co-worker of mine is staying there in October. We call one-another Disney Buddies because we're both talking to one another about our Disney vacations several times a week. I was gone from the office a couple of weeks, and he came back crying "My Disney Buddy hasn't been here! I've missed you!"

Hey everyone,

I know I haven't posted in about forever....life has been nuts the last two weeks. I was in NYC and Buffalo, NY last week for work and then I spent the whole weekend and most of this week with my cheerleaders. Try-outs began on Monday and so I spent literally two 13 hour days in a row over the weekend working on jumps and perfecting last minute tumbling before try-outs began. Then try-outs began on Monday afternoon....which takes up several hours each night every night this week...in ADDITION to my job! AAAAAAHHHH!!!

Sounds like you've been snowed!! A good coach makes all the difference though, so your squad is lucky to have you!

Where is everybody staying the night before?

We're flying in the morning of the cruise, so we'll be...um...at home!

I was at Michael's today buying stuff for our Pirate shirts, which are awesome, if I must say so myself and a woman said to me
" are you making pirate shirts" I said yes for a Disney cruise, we got to talking she is donig the Western in November and the she asked me the best questione ever,

I don't know if it has a brand, but it's called Medi-Air. It looks like throat spray or something. You can probably get it in a medical supply store. Or make nice with someone who works in a hospital *grin*

By the way, this Central Floridian is safe! Fay finally stopped dragging her feet and went over us around 10 pm. She got mighty loud, but I slept through most of it. It's pretty nasty outside, with low pressure and drizzles and some minor wind gusts, but we managed just fine.

Though I must admit, I did break in to the emergency pop tart stash this afternoon when I got home from work.

I was a little concerned about my Mom, who lives in Brevard County over on the coast and was not answering her phones, but she just called to tell me all is well. Her area lucked out big time, no flooding and they still have power. Woooooo!

Patron is 100% blue agave and is aged in barrels to produce the various lines.

Tequilas like Jose Cuevro are only 80% blue agave which is the minimum to be called tequila and 20% crap. They use a chemical stimulant for fermentation which makes the process take only hours compared to weeks. They also add caramel as a coloring to simulate aging.

You know when you used to party and drink shots of cuevro and it really messed you up. That was the 20% Crap filler that was doing it.

VideoMan and I are going to walk all over Cozumel where all the stores let you sample Tequila.
It is like Costco for adults.

We are also planning on purchising a bottle of Patron Platinum which is triple distilled and about $150 a bottle to drink on Deck 9. Bottle is pure Crystal. Perhaps we can get sharpies and have everyone sign it. (DCL charges $39 for a shot of it)

A little bit about us - I am Katie 30, Dwayne is 35 - we are currently stationed in Baumholder, Germany as my DH is Active-duty Army. He is currently on his 3rd combat tour in Iraq and has about 2.5 yrs to retirement at 20!

Also....I have been lurking and reading posts and I noticed someone posted that there is no alarm clock in the room....and I'm not sure that's accurate. I'm almost 100% positive that the propellor shaped clock that is on the nightstand is an alarm clock. It is not a typical digital alarm clock like they have in most hotel rooms...but it does have an alarm you can set on the clock dial and will beep to wake you up. (At least that is my recollection...because Jason and I never travel with a clock....and I'm pretty sure we've used it to wake up on all our previous cruises).

you busy boy... how fun though.. I remember those days!

Also cant you do a wake up call from Mickey? Thats all we were planning on doing or using our cell phones that have alamrs

We'll be at the Radisson Resort at the Port the night before and Pop Century at DW the night after.

Also, I forgot to mention. My husband also spent some time in Germany (as a kid) when his Dad was stationed there for the Air Force.
