"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Take 3!

So, I decided to surprise the family with MNSSHP and then it snowballed into a complete change in our plans

We are still flying in on Thursday morning, but now we are taking the Magical Express too.........Disney Caribbean Beach Resort (Thanks Fatcat!) They have a great Pirate themed pool/waterpark that will be opening right before we arrive. I decided not to go to any of the Disney Water Parks because there isn't enough for Chase/DS3 to do there. So, swimming and relaxing at C.B.R. on Thursday and MNSSHP on Friday Then a limo on Saturday morning to take us to the port. All of this is a surprise by-the-way. I am way too excited!

Wow. How awesome will that be!!!!!! I keep trying very hard to work it out where we can go to the MNSSHP on the 5th. Just having worked it out yet....

Thanks for all the well wishes. Alex is getting surgery on Aug. 28th since no one wants to do lipotripsy on him around here. The urologist was quite unhappy. When he said surgery, I said (bad parent that I am) "oh no, we have a Disney cruise scheduled the end of September. How long until he'll recover from the surgery?" Doctor says he'll be okay in plenty of time.

This thread is like a trauma ward. Sick kids, broken toes, mystery conditions... Maybe they should just quarantine the entire ship ahead of time.

Hoping *everyone* is feeling much, much better and is well on the way to being 100% by the time Sept. 20th gets here!!!

Just ordered my FE gifts...they are local so they will arrive at my house tomorrow or Sat. I'm so excited.....Honestly this trip can NOT get here quickly enough at this point.

That's so fun!!! I can't wait to actually *figure out* what I'm going to do! LOL!!

I think that you should just relax prior to boarding t he ship...There will be plenty of time to do all the stuff you want to do on the ship/islands....You are still going to the beach break right?

Has anyone done Busch Gardens or Sea WOrld Orlando... E gets in free and we get tix for $10 we were thinking instead of 3days at the Parks we do 2 and then of of those. Spoke with my Best Friend *of 12 years* today and was not happy to hear her Grandma has not eatten in 3 days I was so hoping to be home to say Goodbye.. Although at this point, even after 12 years, she won't remember me anymore, anyway.. She has been in Hospice since I left 4 weeks ago..

Understand completely about the gift bags vs. just tossing toys in. Though I did look at the spreadsheet last night (THANKS to Whoever did that!) and was contemplating which would be easier.
About the hospice - Support your friend. That's about all you can do at this point. We cry, not for those who leave us, but for those of us who are left behind.

I've got reservations to Dive Quest at EPCOT for the Saturday after the cruise! Think of the stamp I'll have in my Dive Log!
That's something I never thought I would be able to do, dive in the big aquarium at the Coral Reef. I am so-o-o looking forward to this! Plus I may be able to swim with the manatees and mermaids at Weeki Watchi Springs after the cruise. If possible, I will have at least 3 logged dives from this trip. Not much, you say, but it is a start. A definite start.

We (Brandie & family) have reservations for dinner at Coral Reef after the dive. I am so very thankful that WDW is so conscious of food allergies. We will just be really certain not to share food with Fiona. No hint of shellfish for the baby girl. (Sorry Brandie, but I still feel guilty about the lobster stuffed fillets in your freezer) Hopefully she will be back to eating chicken tenders by then.

great idea for the f/es. I have enough gifts for everyone too. ( even the newbies. )

Drea: we have been to Sea World in Orlando. it was fun, it reminded me of the one in Ohio from years ago. there was beer tasting a few years ago. when we were there it was freezing for Orlando, we had winter jackets on. (Jan 04). they were in the process of adding a bunch of things. they do have a few rides too.

I hope Alex is doing okay. poor little guy.

St.Christopher's in Philly. That's where he sees the cleft palate team, so that's where we went to the ER when he first had his issue, and we didn't know what it was. Glad we didn't go to CHOP, because it's a much longer drive for us.

Mom, I'm the one that gave Fiona the bite of chicken last night that had been cooked with shellfish. I can already hear you saying not to feel guilty about doing that, so listen to your own advice!!! Besides, the friends loved the lobster rolls, so no worries, it didn't go to waste!

Fiona finally fell asleep in the car on the ride to Jimmy John's. I'm not waking her up to eat because I'm being a chicken. She didn't take a nap... She waited until DH passed out beside her at nap time, then she snuck up to me. My boss of course called, so I had to go down and kick DH awake to watch the little runaway who was asking me, "Can I talk to him??? PLEASE, Mommy!!! I want to talk to your bosssssssss!!!!" Yeah... I'm sure that went over well.
