How cool!!:yay: I know you still enjoyed working at the Disney Store when it wasn't under Disney but I know you're super excited now that your back working directly with Disney again.  Sorry you lost that time but CONGRATS on the 5 years!!! :cheer2:

Thanks! :)

Are you watching the Olympics too? I'm hoping to get to bed before 1am! Darn Olympics! :)

So, to all of you veterans: Which is your favorite Value Resort and which is your favorite moderate resort? Also, Which water park is funner? Which water park has the most to do for a toddler?

Thanks.

Value Pop Century
Moderate Caribbean Beach (their brand new main pool area that is pirate themed opens on September 15!)

Water Park for kids your best bet is Blizzard Beach

I worked at the Disney Store tonight and I was so excited because my name was in our company-wide internal newsletter celebrating my (and many others) 5, 10 and 15 year anniversaries with the company! I have been back at my store for 5 years in September, but I have worked for the stores and WDW for a little over 9 years but my time didn't count from my CP and I lost all of my time prior to my CP. But I was so excited! :)

Congratulations Amy that is wonderful:goodvibes

Thanks! :)

Yes but I keep falling asleep!! I'm getting way to old to be going on 4 hours. I can do that for maybe one night or so but keeping it up for 2 weeks????

YAHOO! My FE gifts are finished......thanks to my oldest DGD, Jessica, who finished making them on Sunday and again today. She's such a sweetheart!

My cabins FE is almost finished and then only t-shirts to make and pack. I still don't know how I am only taking one suitcase....

Crissi ~ Wishing you well on your tests and results. :grouphug:

Julie ~ Hang in there. Poor little boy...he's been through so much. :grouphug:

Tiffany ~ Broken toe - oh no - :sad2:

Amy ~ Congratulations.

EVERYONE stay well and good night.

I was being nosey and was looking at the other meet threads and have to say ours is one of the most organized. I wanted to thank you again Kimberly and all of you that have contributed great ideas, suggestions, participation, and information. I dont see any other meet thread as organized as our Post#1.. aka post #6 LMAO.

I do notice a few others do have websites.... but agian I think ours is much cooler (thanks again Brandi and Hubby!)

We spent yesterday in the ER. Apparently, Alex's kidney stone may be on the move... He had periods of extreme, shrieking pain followed by normal behavior. After an ultrasound they told me what I already knew- it's the stone. But the renal doc said go to the ER, so we went.
Alex is also developing severe separation anxiety.

Sorry to hear that Alex isn't feeling well. Kidney stones are NO FUN AT ALL :sad2:

The kids do not know about either of these extra's before the cruise! :cool1:

Don't you just LOVE these kind of surprises  I am keeping a few secrets of my own, and it is really hard ;)

You may want to meet them in person before you decide they are well adjusted:lmao:

:lmao:

We love Pop for value and LOVE Coronado Springs for moderate, their pool in my honest opinion is the best moderate!!!!!! My kids have not been to the water parks, it seems Matthew is too short for a lot of the stuff, they always have a GREAT time at the resort pool, especailly Stormalong Bay:love: ant the Beach club

Thanks for the info. :)

If you are looking to go to a waterpark during the day consider trying to get a rate at Disney Beach Club. Their pool basically is a waterpark.
(Factor in the higher room price with the cost of waterpark)

Thanks for the tip about Beach Club, I think that will do it :cool1:

You crack me up. But I love it!:)

well, I am glad that my OCD amuses you ;) Changing my plans this late in the game is really stressing me out!

Yes - if you stay at a Disney Resort, you can use Magical Express.

Thank you, this is good news.

That pool looks like so much fun!

Feels great huh? :thumbsup2

I second that :thumbsup2

Wow - this is a chatty bunch! I haven't been on in a while and I don't think I'll ever catch up so let me just jump in

Don't bet on it. That's part of the Magic Express Service, which is extra.

Brandie - Congratulations! What hotel reservations are you changing to now?

Mom, are you thinkng about transfers, instead of Magic Express? Remember, we took Magic Express back on our trip in October of 2006. Transfers go from a boat to a hotel or airport, and Magic Express goes to/from the airport and a Disney hotel. You pay for transfers, but ME is free... so far, anyway.

I'm up because Fiona is having an allergic reaction to cross-contaminated chicken. Poooooor baby keeps saying she doesn't like chicken anymore. I don't blame her!!!

Gotta go... --> ER

:grouphug: Hey! It's not all me! There have been many brilliant minds contributing to our Post #577/Post #6/Post #1! I just make sure it's documented in one easy place of reference! My pleasure nonetheless!

I wondered why I saw a posting from you at 3:00 am MDT. You've probably already seen it, but if not, log into Yahoo IM because I left you a msg. Hopefully you're all settling in at home now, so I didn't want to disturb anyone with a phone ring. {{Hugs to Fiona}}

A very nice lady from Frontier just called and asked us to switch to the Sept. 25th flight. I of course said yes! :cool1: :thumbsup2 We're sitting in assigned seats together, no less!

That's AWESOME!! Congratulations! More time to play, too!

Oh dear! I hope all is well with Fiona! Allergic reactions can be so scary! My mom had one last week from garlic and I thought we were going to have to take her to the hospital. It was our last day at WDW, no less.

One day closer to the cruise and WDW for me. :)

You should be able to take Magical Express to the resort and I believe that would be included.

Wow that is awesome! We no longer have any Disney stores around us. it was one of my favorite stores too.

hope everything is okay! my sil is allergic to tree nuts and her reactions are severe.

Crissi: hope they find out what is wrong. :)

We're home and verrrrrry tired (well, the parents are, anyway. Fiona is :cool1: ). We had given her Benadryl before being told to go in, which slowed the vomiting, but the ER gave her a dose of and a prescription for Zantac, which my sleep-deprived mind can't figure out.

I also can't seem to get the work laptop working, either. Oi! This is going to be a day...

Half the week has gone by and I am just now getting around to posting a Question of the Week sorry 'bout that:flower3: Okay, so we previously did animation--but What is your favourite live action Disney flick?

I have a number.....Jungle Book (we used to camp where it was flimed in TN), Bednobs and Broomsticks, POC, the Witch Moutain films (yep...dating myself now ;) )

Zantac works as another antihistamin as well. I've actually had an allergiest tell me to do this when have an environmental allergy. it REALLY works.

Hug Fiona and you all try to get some sleep.

Glad to hear she is ok! Thanks for updating us!

OK folks, has the Olympics inspired anyone? Usually there are a few who step up to the net for a game at CC.

Anyone ready for a game or two?

Yeah, that sleep isn't happening... I'm tempted to slip her more Benadryl. :rotfl:

The doc said the Zantac acted as another anti-histamine, but I'm too sleep-deprived to catch on why. I'm hung up on the fact that it is used primarily for acid reflux. I'll research it when I can work simple machines properly... it took 3 reboots of my laptop to get it working (PEBKAC), and 4 times calling into my conference call to connect.

Meanwhile, this is Fiona this morning: :woohoo: :cool1: :3dglasses :yay: :cheer2:

This is DH: :laundy: :scared: and doing this to the carpet cleaner I passed him: :worship:

Oh, and by the way, when DH and I have passed loopy, we re-write the lyrics to songs... "We Are Family" became "We Are Insanity" a little while ago... I couldn't stop laughing hysterically for a good 5 minutes.
