Here is a little thought for all to think about... I have always cruised with a large group of DISer's and have always had a group photo taken of us by the cast members...they are more than willing to do this because its $$$ for them...Since we have such a large group...we can take the photo on the deck in the back of the ship...not sure what floor its on...we have done this before with 85 people and the photo comes out great...I will scan a copy of it if you would like to see what I'm taking about...
we would need someone to organize this both with the group and the photo staff...any takers??????

We are planning on booking another cruise while on board. We are not sure of the dates. (we will more than likely be moving this summer, so I am not sure of school schedules etc.)

we are thinking about 2 cabins next time.

Dh will be in the sports bar on Monday night to watch the football game. (the kids and I will be at the Golden Mickeys party.)

We'll be at Contemporary beginning 9/24. We'll be meeting my older sister, so I don't know how around we'll be. But if you see us (you'll know, harried looking woman, 4 kids, well 5 if you count big sis who acts more kid-like than my 14 yo), say hi.

I know there are a few of us staying at Pop Century Resorts the week before the cruise. If you didn't know, someone has put together a DIS Meets for Wednesday, September 24 starting at 9:00 pm by the Hippy Dippy Flower pool. The organizer says "LOOK FOR THE LIME LIGHTS BY THE POOL".

Between the Pop FAQ thread and the Meets thread, there appear to be quite a few people from the DISboards who will be there the week of Sept 22. I'm going to TRY to make it.

We'll be at Fantasmic that night at that time. We and Hadley's family have a fantasmic package dining reservation....but we'll think of a herd of DIS friends hanging out there!!

No, mine is black and long. Like I said awhile ago if I keep buying clothes for this cruise I am going to paying for alot of luggage. I have to keep reminding myself that they do have washer and dryers on the ship

The handy dandy Roll Call List shows at least two other families staying there with you guys, Drea. I have a feeling you'll get along JUST FINE with one of them! I'm sure he'll make himself known! Maybe you can even get your FE goodie bag a day earlier from him! If so, I might have to change hotels!

Some time ago, I inquired about this on the main board. Many stated that they charge a *signficant fee* to arrange for them to set this up. Anyone else know of this?? Regardless, I LOVE that groupo picture, Charlie!

Do you really think there would be an extra fee - considering all the pics they'd probably sell of it??? I know we had a group picture taken of our entire family (although there were only 20 of us) and they didn't charge anything extra for that.

Well, the trip is coming to an end!!! Amy and Dave, however, aren't really bothered by it since they'll be down in less than 7 weeks anyway (they head down on the 20th before the cruise for some Disney alone time). They've had a great trip with her family! They leave tomorrow AM (the goal is 5AM) to drive straight home.

I'm sure Amy can't wait to update everyone on the details!!

BTW - we were planning on heading over to the port and staying there Friday night before the cruise but our plans have changed and we are now going to MNSSHP that night and bunking at CR. I just have to get everyone up and going to get over to the port early!!

Tell us more, how did you set it up? We would have to figure out a way to get everyone to know the date and time? Maybe we could get a master list of who is interested, we could draft a letter and then fill in the date/time/place, let me know I would be willing to put the letter together, unless we can arrange it before we sail? Can you tell I REALLY want this pic?

I am trying to talk DH into booking a Cat 11, its much cheaper than the Cat 6!

The sideways category 11s "feel" bigger just because of how they are set up. If it will help for your DH to get to "tour" an 11 you are welcome to stop by and tour ours sometime. We do just fine in one (and Dave is 6'5" and Marika is now as tall as I am!). We prefer the cheap room and more cruises to a nicer room and fewer vacations

Actually, Erik ... not these. They work really well on the walls in my house. They aren't the kind that go on windows (although they could ...), but the kind that places use for signs or removable shapes on walls of kids' nurseries. Does that make sense?? They go on easily and come off easily, too.

I know exactly what you are talking about as we have used them several times in the kids' rooms (Marika has yellow accent dquares on her walls right now). They are probably fine. That said--TECHNICALLY DCL says magnets only (they almost banned door decor last year so I hate to push is at all ) Also, while they usually work great we did have one piece (from aset and no otehr isseus with hte same set on the same wall ) get very stuck and rip paint off last year. It was very odd as we went to move it only a couple hours after placing it

I owuld show up for the photo (and might buy one ) but I am not up to oragnizing it--sorry. Something to discuss is it just this DIS group or is it to include non dissers from hte other websote also? Oh, and I think the deck 7 looks awesome

Group picture - We actually didn't think of it until we were on the cruise (a 4 day on the Wonder). We just asked at Shutters and they arranged a time. We had it taken on the steps at Ariels sculpture. They didn't charge us anything extra and since there were six families involved - they sold 6 8X10's. In fact, several of us bought frame type book that had the ship on one side and the picture on the other (we thought we would splurge since it was our first cruise and we weren't sure when we'd go again) so they made their $$ on us.
