Hadley/Crissi - Hadley's story just re-inforces what I truly believe - we really know our own bodies and need to remember that many times Doctors only see us once/twice a year. If you know/feel that there is something wrong, you just need to be persistent and find a doctor that will really touch all bases before just generalizing as anxiety.

Arin/Stacy/Tiffany - I and my Mom (along with my DS and his DG - DBK1029 and TheDisneyGirl02) will be attending the MNSSHP on the 26th! Kind of a last minute decision but we're all very excited. Purely selfish - this way I get a night at WDW too!!! We're staying at CR that Friday night and then I'll get everyone up bright and early and make our way over to the port!!!

Day count still in the 40's but slowly getting there!

Started printing out door magnets last night - makes it feel that much closer!:cool1:

Question of the week -

Well, I'm more into the "happy ever after" stuff, so I enjoy the movies like The Princess Diaries and Enchanted. (although still waiting for my prince to come :rotfl: ).

Not to say I didn't enjoy all the POC's 'cause I did!

Question of the week:

DS loves Pirates, Star Wars and Indiana Jones.

DD's both love Camp Rock, High School Musical. they love the Jonas Bros too,
they have a terrible nickname for HM/MC. :lmao:

Dh likes the action movies POTC, Star Wars .

Me: not sure if it is Disney, but I love the movie Remember the Titans.

Oh, Julie! You do have your hands full. God love ya for giving him a better life! I hope he will be feeling better VERY soon. That's soooo painful.

BTW, I checked to see what the availability is on our cruise. There are options from Categories 4-12. Maybe the line for Palo reservations won't be SO bad!

Hi,
This may have already been addressed somewhere else and I looked at the first page with all the stats but didn't really see what I am looking for. Are there other theme nights on board besides the Pirate night? I just wanted to know how to be prepared. Not sure if there are pajama parties for the kids, other dress up events, etc.

Thanks in advance.

We will be at MnSSHP too. :) It is a blast.

We are renting a car to get to the port. (it is soo much cheaper than a taxi or Disneys transportation). we are flying in Thurs night and just using the hotels shuttle that night. the following day dh will just go to the airport to get our rental car( since we arriving so late it is not worth getting a car for a few hours.)

Arin are you still going to stay at the Port on Friday night?

our hotel is right by the airport.

As of now, we are still planning on staying at Ron Jon Resort/Cocoa Beach. I think we will end up renting a car on Friday to get us to and from MNSSHP and to the Port on Saturday morning.

A very nice lady from Frontier just called and asked us to switch to the Sept. 25th flight. I of course said yes! :cool1: :thumbsup2 We're sitting in assigned seats together, no less!

Officially the only DCL theme nights you might dress for are formal night, semi formal night and pirate night.
They used to do 60/70s night and 80s night in the clubs (not a ship wide theme or soemthing you would dress for at dinner time--just something you would dress for later in the evening). They have dropped those theme nigths (80s was great with the ship's actors/dancers doing a great dance routien to kick it off, etc.) in favour of more generic things like beach party and one hit wonder. Us DISsers decided to "protest" by declaring One Hit Wonder night 80s night and dressign appropriatly (see post 1:thumbsup2 )

He'll come:)

Well, I asked Rio for his favourite live action Disney flick. First he wanted to know if hte Travel Channel specials count because if so he picks those:lmao: Otherwise he says High School Musical or Sky High.

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Favorite Disney Movie (non-animated)

ME: White Fang, Princess Diaries, P.O.T.C.

DH: Remember the Titans, Narnia, P.O.T.C.

DD: HSM1, HSM2 & Camp Rock

DS: Non-animated movies don't seem to keep his attention too well, but he has come close to sitting thru Air-bud and Snow Dogs.

He'll come:)

Hadley thanks! Thought I had him at one point but turned out I had a frog!

Question of the Week sorry 'bout that:flower3: Okay, so we previously did animation--but What is your favourite live action Disney flick?

Me: Is Ella Enchanted Disney? I love that one! Princess Diaries and POTC!

Doug: ? Not sure - He's out late this evening with church stuff.

Grady:Air Bud/ Buddies, He loves dogs!

Megan: HSM, Camp Rock, anything princess

On another note. I think I've broken my Big Toe! :scared1:

I hit it pretty hard about 2 weeks ago and thought it healed, but the last 24 hours has been pretty rough and I can't seem to bend it any more. I have a Dr. appt tomorrow. I just hope they don't have to tape my toes together because it will be hard to get my shoe on! I have been living in flip flops all summer. I guess I can change to my crocs if need be. UGGGG!

Well, I'm off to see if the Olympics are on and elevate my foot. Can someone please send over some dinner for the kids. I think it's going to be a pizza delivery evening. LOL

Tiffany

So, now that I have set my mind on going to MNSSHP, I decided to price out Disney Resort hotels so we won't have to rent a car to drive from Cocoa Beach to WDW.

I am seriously thinking about switching up all of our plans at the "last minute" :scared1:

The only thing that was stopping me was wanting to have the "water park" at our hotel like Ron Jon has, but now I think we will just have to go to one of the Disney Water Parks on Thursday :rolleyes1

So, to all of you veterans: Which is your favorite Value Resort and which is your favorite moderate resort? Also, Which water park is funner? Which water park has the most to do for a toddler?

Thanks.

Tiffany

OWW. I have broken that toe more than once. lots of ice and elevation are good. I would make you dinner, but it would be really cold and nasty by the time it arrived. :rotfl:
