Yay!!! I love snow! We may get some snow tomorrow...I'm excited because it's snow, but if it snows, I may not be able to go see Dave if it's too bad.

We got soo much snow in November, I am sure we will have a green xmas.

I dont care if we dont get a lot... we are driving to Disney after Xmas, this is the first time we are going to see WDW decorated for Christmas! I just hope the weather is warm!

The weather this week will be in the high 70's low 80's not sure yet for when you will be here....Enjoy it either way.....and be prepared the parks will be jammed.......

Thanks! We are going Dec29-Jan 2. Unfortunately we know how crowded the parks will be, but we are going to make the best of it. We have character type dinners every night... and maybe the kids can swim? we are staying at PO riverside!

So we had our first 'real' snow/ice storm last night. My car was covered with snow and then a nice layer of ice. It was like chiseling my car out this morning! Wasn't the worst ice storm ever, but not the best because I was running late for work.

How is everybody doing tooday?

We avoided the big storm they were calling for! I was almost hoping for a snow day, the kids could help me make cookies for the parties on Thurs/Fri at school. I am in charge of ice cream/toppings for the other party.

Hey guys.....sorry I've been away for so long. (nice to see no one missed me, lol! )I haven't gotten any email notifications for a couple of weeks, and I have been so busy getting all my Christmas ducks in a row, I've let my dis-ing fall to the wayside. My TR is really hurting too but I don't think I'll get back to that until after the holidays...
Its so bad I just finished our tree Monday..I'll have to post pics though..
Ive been run so ragged...today we had a potluck at work..so yesterday morning when I got home I started baking, making homemade pies to take in as my contribution...even from scratch crust. So I spend about an hour making the pies and put them in the oven to bake. It was 8:30 and I set my timer on the oven. They would need to come out around 9:45...so far so good. Sarah wasn't up (her schedule has been off since the weekend) but that wasn't too unusual, sometimes she will sleep as late as noon if she was up late the night before. Anyway I laid in bed watching TV waiting for the pies to get done. I thought about setting my alarm clock too just in case I dozed off, but I thought nah....I'll hear the stove timer. Needless to say I did NOT hear the stove timer and woke up around 11:00 to a house full of thin smoke! Nothing was damaged, other than the pies I had toiled over... And of course I had used all of some of my ingredients so I could not make replacements. I got the out of the oven, the tops were all black (somehow the crusts weren't burnt)..and even thought he filling was hard as a rock I came home today to see someone had actually eaten a piece! Ron said he and Brendan thought the pie was still good (seriously? It was in the oven almost 3 hours!!! ) Nasty.

Hope everyone is doing well and is more prepared for the holidays than I am.

Since you mentioned that you know how bad the parks are going to be , I won't dwell on it, but you never know. With the recession it might not be too bad after all.
You should be able to swim. It is beautiful during the day. Can be a tad chilly at night (50's)..but the pools are heated, so.. The weather down here this time of year is unpredictable, though. Have a great trip down!!!!

Awww poor Jen... I have to say.. I have done that... with cookies though. And yes everyone is missed! But I think we all know how busy everyone is! I havent even started my baking that i normally do.. and think this yr I will only make 2 or 3 types of cookies instead of my 6-7 that i do. Im over the whole holidays think im getting in a sour mood I just want them to be over so we can bust out world tour for the wii once santa brings it and start the new year! lol

Lil John went to see Santa and Mrs Claus tonight ( our local moms group signs up to go every year.. for 10.00 John got to sit on Santas lap and hammer a wooden car together..then Mrs Claus sauders his name and year on the toy. totally cheesy, but he asks to go every year! and I got awesome pictures.. a lot better than the mall!

I am not baking cookies this year.....my sil and I normally do a bunch and nutroll.. not this year.

Jen, don't worry, I missed you!!!! I've been busy helping my mom with her Christmas craft projects plus I worked at the Disney Store last night until almost midnight so I was on here VERY briefly last night.

I went to the doctor today to sign my paperwork for my ACL reconstruction...so I'm all set to have my surgery in 2 weeks and 6 days. A little nervous because I know it's very painful...I've been through it twice but it is still scary.

There is snow coming!!!!!!!! We'll see how much we end up getting!!!!!

Ya my mom usually does a bunch of cookies this yr too.. this yr she made cakes and is handing them out much simplier LOL... I am cuting back to peanut butter kiss cookies, and rum balls oh and fudge LOL

OH and we had snow here.. well not where i am.. BUT very close to me here in So Cal. About 10-15miles away. A lil north. It didnt really stick up it fell kind of crazy... I saw the snow capped mountains and thought aww so pretty

..... Christmas is coming too fast for me this year and this one is going to SUCK! All I can think of is how Pop-Pop will not be there to play Santa and give out the gifts Christmas Eve and how my other Grandfather did not make it until his birthday which is Christmas Eve, then mine is Christmas day. We always celebrated them together on Christmas day.....

Interesting that I was thinking about you and a couple of other people who I know will be going through a tough Christmas due to not having some of their loved ones around them. No doubt it will be very hard. Love ya!

We also avoided the big storm down here. We did get a thin layer of ice Wednesday late afternoon/early evening, but we've been very fortunate this week. Now next week...snow me in please!

haha, thanks made it myself (you know me I need a LOGO!) specially since my new meets thread is umm not talking to me LOL 2 people have said hi since my intro.... thats also all that have posted SINCE my intro... they are only on page 9.... we have 6months to go.. these people are killing me....

might start a question of the week with them. Anyone have any other things to bring us together over then... I know they will never be my DD family.. but heck woud like them to talk like long lost cut off from the wealth grandma type family LOL

We had a snow/ice storm yesterday and we're going to have another one tomorrow! It's been an active weather week in my part of PA!
